Instead of the casuals that are jumping in there and having fun investment.

S Tier

Barbarian (Barb)

Best PvP Build - Whirlwind Barbarian

The famous Barbarian is going to be the best PvP class in Diablo IV Season 1. This is a no-brainer that Barbarian is S tier because Barbarian was just built for PvP. During the open beta and server slam, the game catered to more melee combat. Playing a melee class in PvP feels really good than playing a ranged class. Now the reason why Barbarian is in the S tier for this D4 Season 1 PvP ranking is it has a lot of ways to one shot and it has insane dot damage. Barbarian's tool kit in terms of its shouts, in terms of its gap closers, in terms of his one shot capability is why this class is going to fit into the S tier.

Rogue

Best PvP Build - Twisting Blades Rogue

The argument for the Rogue is some people think it’s too squishy. But the thing with the Rogue is if you're playing the Rogue correctly, your opponent is not going to be able to even react to you coming at them and killing them. If you compare what the Rogue has in its toolkit for PvP like guaranteed crit, the ability to heal on crit, and the ability to close the distance. Its ultimates are also pretty good for PvP like a death trap. It's poison traps pretty good, it's the ability to freeze while doing DPS is pretty op and the ability to cause vulnerability as well. Rogue's overall mobility in PvP is what's putting it in the S tier D4 best Season 1 PvP class. It might be a squishy class but if you're playing the Rogue correctly, you will know how to build against that in PvP, your opponent's most likely going to be dead before they can even fight back. You may not one shot but you're going to do so much damage so quickly that you're definitely going to kill somebody.

A Tier

Sorcerer (Sorc)

Best PvP Build - Ice Shards Sorcerer

This one might be a hot take. The reason why Sorcerer is not S tier is that even though Sorc has good damage and arguably some of the best mobility in the game. But the thing that holds the Sorcerer back is the range in this game sucks. When you're using arranged attacks against opponents in PvP, they just don't connect. Furthermore, the tracking on it is just not as strong. The Sorcerer is fitting in the A tier on the Diablo 4 PvP ranking Season 1 because it's really limited. You have to go down the route of either arc lash or you have to go down the route of ice shards or you have to use hydra.

Druid

Best PvP Build - Landslide Druid

Druid is going to be our A tier PvP class in Diablo 4 Season 1. The reason why is because it's super tanky, it has good mobility and if you build it right, the Druid has the one shot capability of the Barbarian. It may not be as effective but the fact that Druid can stay in the fight and it can be tanky and it can one shot depending on how much health you have in your resistance and armor, the Druid is a formidable foe. For PvP, the best version of the Druid definitely is the Wearbear form, but the pulverized Druid in PvP is insane. Druid is very strong and its damage capability is just crazy. The ability to fortify really easily, the ability to get more health, the ability to have more crit damage, the ability to have gap closers and stuns, ability to have a shot that's guaranteed to overpower are one of the reasons why this class is in the A tier slot on the D4 Season 1 PvP ranking.

B Tier

Necromancer (Necro)

Best PvP Build - Bone Spear Necro

Necromancer is a very interesting class because a lot of people think it hits hard, it has so much damage. But the problem with Necromancer is it's slow. It is a slow class and its abilities are very similar to the Sorcerer's problem. They're all very ranged and they don't connect. Necromancer is going to suffer in the same with the sorcerer suffers is the fact that fusing range abilities it's easy to get out of the way, they just don't connect. If you have abilities that chain back and forth, it's easy to avoid them. You're going to have to build a tanky melee Necro to win a PvP fight scenario. In PvE, Necro is pretty badass, it's pretty strong and it's really good. But in PvP, it's going to take somebody who wants to be good at PvP to be good with the Necromancer.
