Lost Ark Kakul Saydon Inferno Gate 1, 2, 3 Guide (Patterns & Mechanics)

If you want to enter Inferno Kakul Saydon, then you must have completed Kakul Saydon Normal and Hard mode and understand the basic patterns and mechanics in each phase. Here we first list some differences between the hell mode and the normal and hard modes, and then go into the patterns and flight tips you need to pay attention to at each gate.

Inferno Kakul Saydon Gate 1 Patterns & Mechanics

Normal Patterns:

  • The speed of basic patterns has increased significantly, and the interval between patterns has become shorter.

  • The pattern used by Satan in the 3rd gate has been changed. For example, the fear laser no longer shoots in a straight line but instead forms a semi-circle from the beginning.

  • The nullification of the shield has been changed to be cast after Satan splits into clones. The real Satan can be identified by the exclamation mark.

  • The dice always imprisons three people.

  • Two creepy dolls are summoned instead of one.

Key Patterns:

  • The pattern to find Satan involves a dark ball moving around in the center of the map. Unlike normal patterns, it is not necessary to look at a different person with a different motion but rather avoid looking at Satan shooting hearts to survive.

  • In the dancing clown pattern, a surprise Medusa pattern has been added. When Satan suddenly turns around while clapping, if a particle in the shape of a star appears, you must look at it to survive. If it's in the shape of a heart, you must look away to survive.

  • A new pattern has been added from lines 61 to 65, which involves matching pairs of cards. Eight cards are briefly shown, giving two players gauges, and a target appears four times randomly. You must find the card with the symbol of the person with the gauge and match pairs. You must match pairs twice in a row to break the curse, so be careful not to mismatch them.

  • A pattern has been added to the roulette pattern where bombs are dropped. If you don't handle the bombs quickly, you will be wiped out.

  • A pattern has been added between lines 25 and 20 to find the real symbols of the four individuals.

Inferno Kakul Saydon Gate 2 Patterns & Mechanics

Normal Patterns:

  • A counterattack pattern has been added, and if the counterattack is not triggered, the head of Cuck is a safe zone. If you are hit near the counterattack when it is triggered or if you are hit near any other part of Cuck when the counterattack is not triggered, you will be knocked out. Additionally, when the counterattack is triggered, the nullification gauge that was built up is reset.

  • Some of Satan's patterns are not indicated with a range. New patterns include one where he gathers energy with his left hand and shoots a laser, and another where he gathers strength and strikes with a hammer.

  • Not only Satan but also some of Cuck's patterns have been changed so that being hit results in being knocked out.

Key Patterns:

  • When casting the Red Zone and Blue Zone patterns, the Red Zone has become wider, eliminating safe spots, and you must always go to the Blue Zone.

  • Red and Blue Zones now have patterns where colors are assigned to two party members.

  • In the Joker search pattern, when Satan strikes with a hammer, cards and soldiers fall from the sky.

  • In the maze pattern, an invisible confinement pattern has been added for players viewing through binoculars, and Seto's pattern has changed to rushing from opposite directions.

  • In the Pizza pattern, a random party member receives the Reverse Debuff of Abrellschud, the reverse world of the 6th gate.

Inferno Kakul Saydon Gate 3 Patterns & Mechanics

Normal Patterns:

  • Before the entrance of the first boss, random left and right hooks that descend from the upper part have been introduced. During the clown transformation, it has become almost impossible to catch the minions unless you throw the Q to them.

  • The speed of the hooks and sawblades is faster than in normal difficulty.

  • When Satan teleports and claps, sawblades always appear, and their quantity has become more threatening.

Key Patterns:

  • Even within the Sacrifice mini-game, the sawblades are rotating, and there is a circus gorilla boss wielding a big hammer for each mini-game. Unlike before, you cannot jump over them, so you must hit and defeat three of them to proceed, and they have two different patterns.

  • The targets in Showtime approach slightly faster.

In Inferno Kakul Saydon’s 1st to 3rd gates, you gain a small amount of Esther gauge when nullifying them. The difference between nullifying and not nullifying lies in the time it takes to use the final Esther. As a result, combinations with accumulated nullification are more convenient to play than expected. Kakul Hell is a legion raid with a significant element of luck compared to other Hell contents. Even with the same members, there can be a difference of more than 2 minutes in gameplay. That's how important luck with patterns is. The execution patterns are mostly easy to avoid but they consume a significant amount of HP in basic patterns, making potion management difficult. Therefore, we believe the role of support is very significant compared to other raids.
