You want to get out in farm Travincal but you know it can be a little bit of a struggle it's not always the easiest location. Here we have some great tips and tricks to help you survive and clear Travincal faster, which are going to help all classes out, so make sure you stick around now.

1. Buy Life Tap Wand

When you run out here early on with budget gear, maybe you don't really have that much of a life leech, so you're out here hitting monsters and your health is going to go down and down and down. Or even if you have life leach because you're not doing that much damage, you can't leech back that much life obviously the percentage of life you get back, is based upon how much damage you're doing. So the less damage you're doing obviously the less life you leech back, so you could die all the time. Now what we would recommend you do is actually a trick that a lot of people use for hunting Dclone or for farming Torches super early on - is go purchase yourself a Life Tap wand from Akara in Act 1 or you can get them from other places too, but Akara is the most obvious known place to get it. So really early on with any Melee character go shop yourself a life tap wand - life tap the entire Council and it makes you almost invincible fellas.

2 - Get Fire Absorb

This is one that could be overlooked if you're more of a newer character but if you're running any of the characters out of Travincal, it's going to be a great idea to get something with Fire Absorb and the absolute go-to for outrunning a Travincal is a dwarf star. Now the council is known for dropping a ton of gold and this is going to give you even more 100% more gold for Monsters. You have Fire Absorb there and you even got some life to help you out. So once you get your fire resistance high, you throw on this particular thing and you can just sit here and eat Hydras all day and it's doing almost nothing to you. It helps going down just a tad but you'll be good, so get yourself some sort of fire absorb and we would recommend getting yourself a Dwarf Star when you're out here running at Travincal.

3. Teleport

Run over to the port - To The Durance of Hate Level 1,  jump down here, and then come back out, and you notice your mercenary always trails behind you because he's super dumb. Now if you go down, your mercenary teleports down there with you, so it'll automatically teleport your mercenary to you, or right back out so you can get right back into the battle with your mercenary right there. On top of you that way you can keep your mercenary alive or he can kill stuff for you and all that different kind of thing that way the aura.

When you're fighting the council here and your mercenary's health is tick down it goes, you have immediate safety from the council just like that you don't have to try to put up a portal or anything, you can jump down there and heal them up you can go ahead and pop a town portal down here if you wanted to and go back to town. So take advantage of the scenery around you, and make sure you use these stairs to jump to safety or to reposition your mercenary.

Tip 4 - Get Life Leech & Res Gear for Your Mercenary

Now speaking of your mercenary, maybe your mercenary is dying a lot, there's a few options you can go ahead and do in order to keep them alive there is actually a Helm that has fire absorb, or a lot of people will throw this on the mercenary, that will give you 90 to all resistance and the most important really we're talking about here is to fire him not getting killed by those hydras. On top of that, you also get cannot be frozen very crucial for a mercenary, so he can attack faster, because if he's attacking faster then you can go ahead and leech more life back. So right here having a weapon the Reaper's Toll, even though it does have cold damage which can be a little bit of a negative out at Travincal, you can throw that on there and get a bunch of Life Leech. So get a bunch of Life leech on your mercenary and get that Fire Res up can really help him survive but even with that setup, he does die occasionally. To be honest don't really sleep or don't really feel like you have to have a mercenary, because a lot of times the mercenary just isn't worth it.

Tip 5 - Separate Console Into 2-3 Groups

The next tip up for you is don't necessarily take on the entire console all at once, especially budget early on. If you have god-tier gear in Diablo 2 Resurrected, surely go ahead and do it, but feel free to separate a few of them bring them out here, and take them out maybe 1, 2, 3, 4 at a time. If you have them all right next to each other there are so many council members to heal each other even right here, they're getting healed from up there so if you go ahead and lure them out just a little bit further, sometimes they can be a tad annoying on not wanting to come out but you lure them out a little bit further, and then there are not as many council members to heal each other. So if you go ahead and separate them into two or three different groups, it can make it a lot easier for those budget characters who don't have absolutely perfect gear to take the council out a little bit faster.
