D4 Fastest 1-100 Leveling Strategy Guide - How to Get to Level 100 Fast in Diablo 4

If you're a Diablo fan, you'll know that leveling up is one of the most important aspects of the game. Diablo 4 is no exception - it is filled with challenges that can be overcome once the player reaches the maximum level cap of 100. Here, we will be discussing a Diablo 4 leveling strategy that can help you reach the highest level efficiently at the start of the game launch. We also explain how long it will take the average player to hit level 100 in Diablo 4 and through each season, so they can set enough time aside to slay the followers of Lilith.

1. Choosing a World Tier

After you make your character, you're going to want to begin your leveling journey in World Tier 1. Basically, the time to kill things in World tier 2 isn't worth the 20 more XP you get. However, we would give World Tier 2 a try if you're absolutely blasting things in World Tier 1. We’re expecting to change the World Tier 2 when unlock the twisting blades aspect in Act 2 of the campaign. Feel it out and depending on the build and class you're playing, you may find it easier just to stick to World Tier 1 and burn through the campaign.

2. Choosing a Build

For the builds, you want your character as strong as possible for a nice smooth leveling experience. Do your research and check out multiple build guides for one that you think, you will enjoy playing but will still perform well. For all you Rogue enjoyers out there, check out our twisting blades leveling build guide.

3. Complete the Campaign

Another way to get to level 100 in Diablo IV launch is to try to stick to the main campaign and don't get sidetracked with sellers, side quests events and even most dungeons for now. There will be some exceptions to this as we continue. Completing the campaign only needs to be completed once per account, getting this done now means you have the option to skip it in the future for other characters and even seasons. While progressing through the campaign, you're going to be able to unlock the use of mounts, keep an eye out for this and make sure you unlock them as soon as possible.

4. Get Your Legendary Aspects

One of the exceptions to deviate from the campaign will be to collect important legendary aspects for your build. For example, picking up the blast Trappers aspect which is supposed to be somewhere during the campaign in Act 1. Also picking up the blade dancers aspect to be somewhere in Act 2. both of these aspects provide a huge boost to the power of the Rogue leveling build, there's going to be many aspects that will be a waste of your time to collect and even more of a waste to imprint on your gear as your leveling.

5. Save Your Gold

The next fastest way to reach level 100 in Diablo 4 is to save gold. Don't use every legendary aspect you find just because you can. You're going to be replacing your gear as you level and imprinting every aspect back onto your gear will be a waste of resources. Instead, choose only the top few game-changing aspects for the build your plane and put them on your jewelry, which you won't need to be upgrading as much as your other gear. If you're a Rogue or even a Barbarian, you can put the most important aspect onto your two-handed weapon if the build you're using doesn't use that weapon to deal damage. For example, if you're playing a Melee Rogue build like Twisting Blades, you don't attack with your two-handed bow, so the damage you deal is not directly correlated to the power of it. This means you can use a low-level bow with a powerful aspect on it without hurting your overall performance.

6. Gather Herbs

The next Diablo 4 leveling to 100 strategy is to make sure to collect any herbs you find as you're traveling around. These will be used to upgrade your potion, so they restore more health and to craft these elixirs which will give you 5% more XP while you're leveling. Each zone on the map has 2 skill points locked behind renown.

7. Renown (5 Free Skill Points)

Try to earn enough renown for the first the two skill points in each of the 5 zones. To do this, prioritize waypoints and areas discovered. If we complete the campaign in a zone before getting 200 renown, completing 1 or 2 dungeons should be enough. Then come back to each zone for the rest of the renown later on. The main priority is to complete the campaign and transition into World Tier 3.

8. Unlock World Tier 3

Once we’re around level 40 or 45, start trying to complete the capstone dungeon to unlock World Tier 3. Unlocking higher World Tiers is mainly important because of the massive increase in XP rates starting at 100% in World Tier 3. But there are also some items that can only drop in the higher World Tiers. Starting in World Tier 3, sacred and unique items will begin to drop. Sacred items simply have higher stat roles and unique items are even more rare than legendaries with really cool powers that are you guessed it unique to that item. You'll also begin seeing nightmare sizzles drop which give you access to nightmare dungeons. These basically make one of the normal dungeons a harder version with added challenges and increased drop rates.

9. Renown (Finish Skill Points)

Entering World Tier 3 will probably feel under leveled and weak. If this is the case you plan to catch up on renown in open-world activities because this content will be easier for us to complete than dungeons, but will still help us catch up on levels. Once we feel confident in character's power,  start to complete each dungeon at least once for the renown dungeons should be good XP while still completing renowned for the other 5 skill points.

10. Unlock World Tier 4

The last tip for leveling to 100 in Diablo 4 is unlocking World Tier 4. As we play in World Tier 3, gaining levels and improving our gear, we're aiming for level 60 to 65 depending on how the capstone dungeon went for World Tier 3. Our goal is to get as powerful as we can as fast as we can to complete the second capstone dungeon to unlock World Tier 4. Once you unlock World Tier 4, you're on the home stretch for level 100 with a whopping 200% increased XP rate. Repeat what we did at the start of World Tier 3 and try to get powerful enough to farm dungeons for the fast track to level 100.

So that's the Diablo 4 tips to get from level 1 to 100 smoothly and efficiently. Give it a try yourself!
