The Barber has the effect of critical strikes and all subsequent damage within 2.0-4.0 seconds is absorbed by your target. Then, the absorbed damage erupts onto surrounding enemies. Stored damage is increased by 10% per second. Next, we're going to show you the best dungeon to drop Barber in Diablo IV after patch 1.1.1.

Diablo 4 1.1.1 Barber Changes

  • Fixed an issue where the Caged Heart of the Barber malignant power would absorb damage from all other players and not just the player with it equipped.

  • Fixed an issue where effects that build up from dealing damage, such as Rogue's Inner Sight, wouldn't properly build up while the effect from the ‍Caged Heart of the Barber Malignant Heart was active.

Best Diablo 4 1.1.1 Barber Farming Locations

The best place to get Barber in Diablo 4 is going to the Ravening Pit. All you need t do is run through a little loop. There's a guaranteed three elites that can be or they will be malignant enemies. They have the chance of being a wrathful malignant enemy. Any malignant enemy does come across has a small chance of being wrathful. Four different types are brutal, vicious, wrathful, and malignant, so it will pick out one of those four to be. We're only going to be hunting the wrathful ones, so the most efficient way to do it is just to come into the dungeon, and run straight through, you find the two with the sculpt markers will be the objective to unlock the next part of the dungeon. They'll always be those two and if they're not wrathful, just ignore them, keep running through the dungeon, and look for the other one, it will usually be in a group of three elites and then one of those three elites will be a malignant enemy.

Tip 1

An easy way to tell is to look at the chat in the bottom left corner, you'll see they'll be wrathful, vicious, malignant, or brutal, or you could also just hover over the enemy in front of you so you can see their affixes like cold enchanted and then the malignant one will always be the first affix on the enemy. If it doesn't show wrathful straight away, just ignore it, keep running through the dungeon. Sometimes there is a chance of a wrathful malignant enemy also showing up here malignant elites. If you don't find any wrathful, you just hide in a corner, kill the enemies, leave the dungeon, teleport out, reset, jump straight back in, and do it again. You’ll be able to get a wrathful heart about every 15 to 20 minutes by doing this. Because you do run through fast or say about 10 to 15 runs. Just really fast through there and you should get yourself a wrathful heart, so it is completely RNG based.

Tip 2

Another thing you could do is you could run through after you've beaten the two elites, you've unlocked the gate, you killed the one in the middle. That one by the way does have a chance to be a wrathful as well and can be any single one of the wrathful enemies. You go through and you kill Varshan. He is level 80 and he does drop usually on two caged hearts as well. They do have a chance of being wrathful but then he also does drop 800 item power loot, sacred and ancestral. They're the same as they're all 800 item level. It's a really good way of farming some gear for yourself maybe even alt. If you want to transfer it over as there is the new level cap of sacred being 60 and then ancestral can't go higher than 80 on the level cap. Just keep that all in mind, you could go through there and farm it up.

Tip 3

Another thing is the urn. If you pursue, you come to season blessings, you can't get the urn of malignance to increase the chance of powerful malignant hearts to drop. There's a 50% chance of getting more powerful ones. You might put it in if you are farming for your wrathful heart there as you will be coming across a couple of other hearts, you can dismantle them. There'll be higher items, they also have more armor and increase the affix as well.

Tip 4

Other than that, there's no secret to this. You just have to grind it out. Just keep in mind, every time you go into the Ravening Pit, there's going to be three guaranteed enemies. There is a one in four chance that each of those enemies will be a wrathful. So you come up to the first enemy, one in four chance, he's going to be wrathful, then you kill him. If he is wrathful also that four rolled goods, it's 25% chance wrathful and then it's another one in four chance that that enemy is going to be the wrathful heart of the Barber. Because there's always going to be four wrathful hearts that can drop for your class. It'll be your class guaranteed one and then the 3 general ones that off all classes and the Barber falls into that general one. So it's a really small chance but it exists.
