Elden Ring 1.09 Best Ghiza's Wheel Build for PVP (Level 150 +)

4/17/2023 4:27:56 PM

Today we'll be building around Ghiza's Wheel, entirely making Ghiza’s Wheel, actually able to cut through any enemy that you come across, and talking about why exactly this weapon has been able to be thrust into the spotlight once more, the main thing going on with the weapon is a good bit of Versatility, the weapon skill absolutely destroys some enemies and bosses, but the ones that it doesn't the heavy attack combos are still extremely strong due to the way that the weapon functions, essentially the skill just as you thrust the weapon forward and spin the saw blade endlessly until you run out of stamina FP or if you choose to stop it yourself.

What's the Trick To Make This Work Particularly Well

Then is of course having really high Poise, with high Poise, you get to have an experience like that Millennia phase one that we opened the guide with where you just hold the saw blade down and eat away at her health until you get a bleed proc triggering some of our damage bonuses and then the spinning saw does even more damage, as a result, the damage of this ability isn't insane, but it is good enough that it out does doing regular attacks for as long as you can hold the button down and on top of that the FP consumption is extremely low and the stamina usage is far lower than a normal attack, so if you have the opportunity to just attack for eight is about an eruption, the weapon skill actually does quite well.

What Was Changed with the Weapon in Patch 1.09 To Make This Happen Well

First up, we had some attribute scaling changes for colossal weapons which just makes the weapons stronger as a whole, but the weapon skill spinning weapon actually scales with your attributes as well, and so this affects everything that we have, however, more importantly, they increase the attack generation speed of the spinning wheel, meaning that it just hits faster and then they also added a roll in heavy attack cancel timing while using the skill before when you wanted to stop using Spinning Wheel you'd have to do about a second long animation to actually put it down.

How this Ghiza's Wheel Build Work in PVP

How the build functions in PvP, the weapon skill itself is just sort of all right here, the rage isn't very long the damage over just a couple of frames isn't very much, and it is incredibly predictable that you're going to be using it when people see this weapon, however, this change makes it really easy to lull your opponent into a false sense of security thinking that you are locked into this animation once you start the spinning wheel, only for you to break it into a heavy attack surprising them and taking them completely off guard, on top of that, charged heavy attacks are actually silly, because another unique part of this weapon is that if you charge the heavy attack it actually has multiple hits which does a ton of damage if you can connect, the only negative for the weapon at this point in my mind is that it still for some reason doesn't work with the successive hit bonus talismans and such at least the weapon skill doesn't and if it did then this thing would be an absolute Menace, but as it stands, it's just sort of in the quite good category now, not quite these stupidly strong category, that said those bonuses do apply to the multi-hit charged heavy attacks, so depending on the way that you want to play depending on the boss that you're against, you can always change up some of your talismans and such to try, and focus on those and mix the build up a bit the one that we’re presenting today however is mostly based around buffing the weapon skill and buffing hour Poise a massive amount so that you can just sort of carve through enemy knees.

Equipment

Weapon: Ghiza's Wheel

You get this in volcano Manor Itself by defeating the NPC Invader that spawns on the second floor of the manor proper, then you need a seal any seal will do so just grab any of the weightless ones even if your stats aren't enough to use it properly, seal scaling is irrelevant for this build as our incantations are only set Buffs that don't adjust to your scaling.

Head Armor: White Mask

White Mask helmet, this gives you a 10 boost to all damage for 20 seconds after a bleed proc happens near you, this weapon has 70 bleep status on it so between the weapon skill and the multi-hit heavy attacks, it is quite capable of causing bleed rocks quite regularly, and thus making this effect activate, you get this one by defeating the white mask Invader that spawns in the pool of blood and moog's area, but it'll only spawn before you defeat Moog himself.

Chest Armor: Bull-Goat Armor

You just want maximum Poise so Bull-Goat Armor is the ideal set, but anyone with high Poise that you like the fashion of will do quite well.

  • Shard of Alexander

  • Erdtree’s Favor
