With this Diablo 4 Fast Leveling Guide, we give you two strategies to level all the way to 100 as quickly as possible in the 1.2.0 patch!

Diablo 4 Season 2 Fast 1-50-100 Leveling Strategy Guide

Diablo IV Season 2 is just around the corner and it's time to talk leveling - how to maximize your time in the game. Now we are going to have two strategies here -  one is going to be focusing on just getting to level 100, getting all your skill points, all of your Paragon points all of that type of thing as quick as you possibly can. We do not recommend this for most people. Generally, we would say you're building a better character doing the second method which does help you level quickly but also gets you all the stuff you're going to need when you do reach level 100 or the later levels for your build.

There are really three major differences from Season 1 to Season 2 leveling in Diablo 4:

1. It's going to be about 40% faster to reach level 100

2. You're going to have the full Renown on character Creations. You're going to have your Paragon points when you reach level 50 your two skill points in total for 10, and lots of power right as you create a character

3. Strongholds are no longer the king of leveling in the early game.

D4 Season 2 Fastest 1-100 Leveling Way (Hardcore)

With that said, we're going to start off with the hardcore leveling process, it's very straightforward, but there aren't many steps to it. Following these steps to reach 100 levels fastest in Sofecore, and even could win the Race to 100 in Hardcore:

Step 1 - Completing The Seasonal Questline (Level 0-8)

The first step is going to be completing the seasonal questline until you unlock Vampiric. Similar to the season 1 questline where you do this quest in Kyovashad and then you head over to Kedbardu to finish the second Quest, both those quests unlock the malignant heart. And then you were able to use those on your jewelry and get a bunch of bonuses. You're going to want to do this for Season 2 except they don't apply to your jewelry. It's a little bit different but essentially it's going to give you those bonuses that you're looking for across your entire time playing the game so you want to unlock it as soon as possible.

Step 2 - Doing Dungeon Farm (Level 8-60)

Dungeon farming is basically the entirety of your early leveling process. Specifically dungeon farming until World Tier 4 with one exception. The dungeons you're going to want to focus on are Domnainne Tunnels as well as Uldur's Cave, so these two in particular are quite good. Uldur's Cave is going to be just in general or Domnainne Tunnels rather is just going to be in general the fastest XP. You don't want to complete the dungeon, you just want to farm the initial layer. And if you have a fast computer, you can teleport to town and reset the dungeon, you're able to really do this quickly and you can jump back in without loading too long, Domnainne Tunnels is going to be the way to go. If you take a little bit longer to load, you can actually lose a lot of time, even if we are talking 5 Seconds that can make the difference and Uldur's Cave can be a little bit better. It really depends on how fast your computer can load, and of course which layout you're a little bit more used to because Uldur's Cave is only a little bit less good as far as we found it also depends on the build because Uldur's Cave requires a little bit more travel time. So if you're not playing like a Rogue, it might not be as quick, so Domnainne Tunnels is going to be the safe one for most people and that's what you're going to do until World tier 4.

Step 3 - Running Hope's Light (Level 25)

So for most people that's going to be around level 60, if you're a Hardcore player, you could probably reach the world tier 4 at that point, there is something that you want to do in between World tier 4 and you start to farm the Dungeons and that's going to Running Hope's Light. We would do this at around level 25 or so because that's when you can do Running Hope's Light confidently. You could do it a little bit earlier but Hope's Light unlocks a new Nightmare dungeon when you actually start farming Nightmare Dungeons and it's one of the better ones. It's not 100% necessary but if you get unlucky or lucky, and your nightmare sigils are like the same one over and over again on Hope's Light and you don't have it unlocked, you're not going to be able to do it. And if you do it later, you're going to get less XP because it doesn't scale quite as nicely, and instead, you'd rather be farming the nightmare dungeons at that time rather than farming the open world. So you want to do this early on in your leveling process unlocking that nightmare dungeon

Step 4 - Doing NM Dungeons Till 100 Level

As soon as you get to World Tier 4, we're doing Nightmare dungeons all the way to 100, it's the same straightforward process. There are going to be different nightmare dungeons that you want to focus on because season 2 has a different list. We know so far a few of the good ones are going to be the Flooded Depths which is the one you're going to unlock with Hope's Light,  Sirocco Caverns and Jalal's Vigil. It depends really on your RNG and how the sigils kind of pop up for you, but nightmare dungeons all the way to 100 same as always

D4 Season 2 Best 1-100 Leveling Way (For Casual)

For those of you that are a little bit more casual maybe you just want to not farm the same dungeon until you're dead as that's not very fun, so we have a few different things that you can do. We're going to be utilizing the open world a lot more and some of the mechanics that they've implemented in Season 2 are going to help you prepare for potentially unlocking some of the endgame bosses as well as giving you a lot more resources in terms of potential sigils that you could run or even just crafting materials. So you'll have a little bit more access to more resources but you will be a decent chunk behind in the leveling process that's just how it goes when you're not doing the fastest methods.

Step 1 - Doing the Seaonal Questline (Level 0-15)

Going to be the seasonal questline, we recommend pushing this as far as you can go because there are often times a lot of interesting things with it. Of course, if you don't like the season and the story maybe it's not your thing, but you do want to at least get to the point where you unlock those vampiric, because that's one of the main pieces of content that's unlocked with the Season of Blood and it's going to be hopefully fun to engage with there's obviously a bunch of new good things for different builds

Step 2 - Class Quest (Level 15)

If you've reached level 15 by pushing the seasonal questline as far as you can go, then you're going to do step two if you haven't gotten to level 15, then you can go and jump ahead to step 3 for a portion. And then when you get to level 15 you're going to want to do your Class Quest, which unlocks a lot of things with your class, whether you're the Barb or Rogue whatever it is, it's just going to open up your whole build then you jump into step 3.

Step 3 - Farming Open World and Dungeons

Now it's really important to note that there are two specific pieces of open-world content that is really interesting in the new Season 2. The first one is going to be the Blood Harvest, it's essentially like Helltide zones that you find across the map but they're available as early as level 1 and they're constant - they're going to be indicated similar to the Red Haze that Helltide zones have, except it's going to be like a more blue haze as far as we've seen and those are just going to be constantly active. Maybe they'll just be like the best leveling methods, we highly doubt it though almost any open-world piece of content gets interrupted by other players or potentially just not as high density as something like a dungeon will be, so you're going to get less XP but you are going to be in the area for herbs and just in general experiencing what the seasonal bonuses have to offer maybe you're going to experience some Blood Seekers which drop bonuses for all your different things in Season of Blood. So Blood Harvest is going to be great to do not only that but you can also start off with doing Tree of Whispers which unlocks at level 1. But since they've buffed up Tree of Whispers a little bit and if you start to get later on in the game, you can actually unlock the specific Keys associated with Tree of Whispers to unlock the endgame boss for that specific game mode

Step 3 - Doing Hope's Light

During this process, we still would recommend that you do Hope's Light, it's still going to be a dungeon worth doing or stronghold rather because you do want to unlock that nightmare dungeon cuz it is going to be one of the better ones. it's going to be great for you when you get those sigils.

Step 4 - Farming Nightmare Dungeons

Nightmare Dungeons is the endgame content in this game whether you like it or not. Eventually farming Dungeons and Tree of Whispers is basically going to be the same as farming Nightmare Dungeons. And of course, the open world content maybe you get bored of it or maybe you want to keep doing it that's totally fine. Nightmare dungeons are going to be an efficient way and a good way to accumulate resources and gear when the time comes and hopefully at that time because you've been farming your Blood Harvests and all that good stuff you're going to have resources.

Step 5 - Running Helltide Zones

On top of nightmare dungeons though, step 5 is going to be helltide zones. We do recommend you do a mix of Helltide zones within your Nightmare dungeons, unlike with the hardcore leveling process. Because Helltide zones give you access to things like Fiend Roses. And of course, if we open up the materials, we could see that we're also going to get the Forgotten Souls. These two items are incredibly important especially for not only improving your gear but also enhancing it all that good stuff, so you want to have a good baseline of those, so you can use them to upgrade your gear.

Step 6 - Killing World Bosses

The last step is going to be World Bosses. The game has buffed up World bosses quite significantly as of late, and they spawn more frequently and give you a little bit better rewards. So especially for those scattered prisms and of course just getting loot. We do recommend you pick up and do the world bosses when they do appear as you're going through and doing your Nightmare Dungeons and your Helltide zones, a good mix of all three of these pieces of content is going to help you get to level 100 decently quick. But also have you the Baseline to upgrade enhance and improve your character as needed which is going to be a great way to have a well-rounded character

Overall that's going to be the best way to level even if you're a more casual player just trying to enjoy the game, we do think that if you follow that second method you're going to have a good time and you're going to be progressing quickly!

Guess you ask
