WoW SoD Where to Find Living Bomb & Arcane Blast for Mages

There are new quests, rewards, and challenges in Season of Discovery. For mages in particular, two standout new spells have been added that significantly boost their damage-dealing potential - Living Bomb and Arcane Blast. However, these potent abilities do not unlock automatically and require some effort to obtain. In this article, we will guide you on how to obtain and use Living Bomb & Arcane Blast as a Mage in WoW Season of Discovery.

How & Where to Find Living Bomb Rune in WoW SoD?

Living Bomb is a powerful fire spell that allows you to place a damage-over-time effect on your enemies.

- To get living bomb dropped, all you have to do is kill mobs in Fenris Isle, get a quest item called “A Talking Head”, it can take you a couple of tries to get it.

- You got to kill mobs in the Fenris Isle, it will take like 50 mobs to get it done to get the item.

- After you get the item, click and complete the quest and get a new one. For this quest, you have to go up in the hole and click on this little shelf and it will give you another quest to turn in on Undercity.

- Go to Undercity and complete the quest.

- After you complete the quest, you auto get the rune which is really strong. In the damage meters, in a couple of seconds like the combination of leaving flame and leaving bomb and then Arcane explosion is just insane, so you definitely should get this rune as soon as possible.

How to use Living Bomb?

- Multi-Target Damage: Living Bomb excels at dealing damage to multiple targets. Use it in situations where there are multiple enemies grouped together to maximize its effectiveness.

- Spreading the Bomb: Living Bomb can spread to nearby enemies when the initial target dies or when you cast Inferno Blast. Take advantage of this by strategically spreading the bomb to additional targets for increased damage.

- Combustion Synergy: Living Bomb synergizes well with the Mage's Combustion ability. Use Combustion to ignite Living Bomb on multiple targets, resulting in massive damage.

How and Where to Get Arcane Blast Rune in WoW SoD?

Arcane Blast is a potent spell that allows you to unleash a burst of arcane energy on your enemies.

To drop Arcane Blast rune in WoW Season of Discovery, all you got to do is go to Zoram Strand in Ashenvale. You got to find these crystals that are in the beach and you got to use an Arcane SP on it. You just use one Arcane explosion and you will get a buff that you need to suck 3 times. And then you are going to just walk North and you will find these crystals and until we get 3 of them and you get Arcane blast rune like that. Arcane blast can potentially be one of the greatest runes that we have as a Mage.

How to use Arcane Blast?

- Arcane Charges: Arcane Blast consumes an Arcane Charge each time you cast it. Build up Arcane Charges by casting Arcane Missiles or Arcane Barrage. The more Arcane Charges you have, the more powerful your Arcane Blasts become.

- Mana Management: Arcane Blast consumes a significant amount of mana. Keep an eye on your mana pool and use Arcane Barrage to conserve mana when necessary.

- Arcane Power: Combine Arcane Blast with Arcane Power for a potent burst of damage. Activate Arcane Power before casting Arcane Blast to maximize its effectiveness.
