Based on the data mining, the drop rate of Uber unique items have been updated after the patch, the Doombringer, Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander, The Grandfather, Melted Heart of Selig, Andariel's Visage, Harlequin Crest and Ring of Starless Skies had a drop weight of one and their new drop weight is 1,350, this means it's 1350 times more likely in new patch that you get the item in comparison to the old patch, outside of Duriel. What to note is the drop chance at Duriel has not changed, it is still 2%.

Take the Harlequin Crest as an example, different classes have different drop chances, if Barbarians hunt for Harlequin Crest, the original drop chance was 1 in 9800006 drops or 0.000000102040754% drop chance. And now, its new drop chance has been changed to about 1 in 7000 drops or 0.00014%, much higher than before, but still very low.

Where and How to Get Uber Unique Items in Diablo 4 Season 3

There is no method to guarantee you get an Uber Unique, the most reliable way to target farm Uber Uniques is by defeating Duriel, King of Maggots in Helltide. Against Duriel, the chance for an Uber Unique to drop is around 2%, which is still quite low. Uber Uniques will always drop at item power 925 and the enemy must be level 85+, you need to find these enemies in World Tier 4 and high-tier Nightmare Dungeons. To farm Duriel for Uber Uniques, you need to be in World Tier 4 with enemies at level 85 or higher. You can also farm these items from Treasure Goblins, Helltide Chests, dungeons, and events.

Some of the Uber unique items are class-specific, Doombringer can only drop for Barbarian, Necromancer, and Rogue, The Grandfather only drop for Barbarian, Necromancer, and ‍Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander only drop for Sorcerer and Druid.

When it comes to other changes in D4 S3, a ton of objectives, rewards and requirements have been refreshed.
