1. What are Bells and Nook Miles in Animal Crossing

There are two currencies used in Animal Crossing New Horizons: bells, and miles. Animal Crossing bells are mainly used to buy Animal Crossing items (Nook Miles Tickets, Golden Tools, Apparels, Decorations, Fossils, Furniture) from stores and pay off your various mortgages, you can also use it to trade with villagers, for fund upgrades to your island and more services. How to get bells in Animal Crossing? Sell your unwanted furniture, catching and selling fish, complete favours for you villagers, play the stall market and more methods are effective for money-making.


Nook Miles is another type of currency used to exchange items and activities, like uniform, carpet, DIY recipes, phone cases, wallpaper, Nook Miles Tickets to go on mystery tours, and pay off the getaway package. You can earn some Nook Miles through completing a Nook Mileage Program task.


2. Museum and Blathers

The museum is a building curated by an owl named Blathers, for collecting the displaying bugs, fish, fossils, paintings, and sculptures. Museum is not a part of your island at the beginning, you need to unlock and build it. How to unlock the museum in Animal Crossing? On day 1, Tom Nook will give you the task to find five different bug or fish around the island with tools like a fishing rod, then hand them over, you’ll get a plot that will turn into a museum. On day 2, Blathers will appear in a tent and accept donations: 15 unique creatures. Once the donations completed, the tent will be upgraded into the full museum two days later. You can put blathers tent down wherever you want the museum to go on. 


3. Mine Rocks 

Rocks, also known as giant rocks, are natural solid objects. In New Horizons, destructible rocks are can found when creating towns, the rocks contain three species of bugs (pillbugs, centipedes, and house centipedes), they are only revealed when the rock is struck with shovel or axe. Hitting rocks is a useful way to collect valuable resources including iron nuggets, clay, stones, bugs, and even Bells. Get the right time, you can maximize the number of goodies off the rock. When the rocks on your island spawned in inconvenient locations, you can move the rocks. How to move rocks in Animal Crossing? Eat one fruit to gain strength for one rock, smash your shovel into the rock and break it, the broken rocks may be respawned in a random location, try multiple times to get them to arrive where you want.


4. Travel Regularly

New Horizons allows players to travel and adventure between friends and strangers You can visit your friends to get some off island fruit which is worth more back home and indeed you should but always plant some so it grows on your island. You can also to random generated islands to discover solo Nook Miles. How to visit other islands in Animal Crossing? Play until you unlock the airport, go into the airport and talk to the dodo bird at the desk, choose to fly or accept visitors, use your Nook Miles Tickets at the dodo airlines to reach the island you want to go. Take your tools, pick up every weed, grab every fossil, shake every tree, just don’t go home until every single slot in your inventory is full.
