When Does Animal Crossing New Horizons Summer Update Wave 2 Release?

ACNH Summer Update Wave 2 will be released on Thursday, July 30th. The exact time would be different for different regions.

ACNH Fireworks Event - Weekly Firework Show in August

No update at Animal Crossing without a new event. This time you have the opportunity to take part in fireworks every Sunday evening throughout August. Not only are celestial bodies fired there, but there are also some activities.

Redd raffle: The sly fox, who actually sells paintings, has built a second mainstay and was the operator of a raffle at the time. Here you can buy raffle tickets with Animal Crossing bells to win special prizes. So far you can see small whistles, soap bubbles, hand fireworks and more. ACNH Dreams & Luna - Visit Other Players’ Islands in a Dream!

ACNH Island Backup - Island Backup Restoration Service

Breathe easy for all fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. With the ACNH Summer Update Wave 2, you can finally save your island more or less as a backup. Nintendo is launching the so-called island backup service for this, which will soon be launched with the update on July 30, 2020. With this your stored data can be saved on a server, which make it is possible to transfer your game status from one switch to another. The only requirement is membership of Nintendo Switch Online. The service is only limited in cases of technical problems, loss or theft of the console. Exactly how the island security service works will be announced on July 30 on the official website.

Next Free ACNH Update In Fall

But that's not all, because there will be an Animal Crossing update again in autumn. This will definitely include a Halloween event, as the first teaser suggests. What else could be in there, let alone a real release date, is currently unknown.

General Updates

A new seasonal event, Fireworks Shows, has been added.
New limited-time seasonal items have been added to Nook Shopping.
A new feature was added to the NookPhone Camera app, allowing you to turn off the guide information by pressing in the R Stick.
The “funny glasses” item now matches up with player skin color variations.

Online Connectivity Features

A new feature allows you to sleep in a bed and meet Luna. You can upload a dream of your island via the internet or visit other uploaded dream islands.
New features have been added to the Custom Designs Portal. You can now search by design name or type. You can now create a list of favorite creators.
A new feature has been added for backing up save data to Nintendo’s servers via the internet. You can use backed up save data with the island backup restoration service if your Nintendo Switch system is lost or broken.
You must be a member of Nintendo Switch Online and enable backups within Animal Crossing: New Horizons to use this new feature.
Save data cannot be restored at a customer’s discretionary timing. If your system is broken, you must contact Nintendo Support to start a repair request. If you have lost your system, you must contact Nintendo Support.
This feature does not allow save data (island data) to be transferred to a different system. We currently plan on adding a save data transfer feature within 2020. Information on the feature and timing will be announced at a future time.
