ACNH August & September Seasonal Event Items: Qixi, Cowboy, Grape, Autumn Moon Festival In Animal Crossing New Horizons

There are 5 brand new seasonal items that have been revealed from the Animal Crossing New Horizons Summer Update Wave 2. They will be available in the upcoming August or September Events, covering Qixi Festival, Cowboy Festival, Grape Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival.

Animal Crossing New Horizons August & September New Seasonal Event Items

As you know, the second wave of the Animal Crossing New Horizons Summer Update has released almost a week, and introduced a whole bunch of new content including Dream Island and Firework Show. Just like with the other big ACNH updates in previous, the V1.4.0 patch also brings new seasonal items into the game. There are five new items in total would be available in different events at different times over the next couple of months. So we will go over each one and take a close look.

Animal Crossing New Horizons August & September Seasonal Event Items

1. ACNH Qixi Festival

New Items: Hikkoboshi Outfit, Orihime Outfit

Price: 2,500 Bells

Available Time: August 1st to 31st

To celebrate the Chinese Qixi Festival holiday, a new pair of Ancient Robe clothing items: Hikkoboshi Outfit and Orihime Outfit. The Qixi Festival, also known as the Qiqiao Festival or Double Seventh Festival or Chinese Valentine's Day, is a Chinese traditional festival celebrating the annual meeting of the cowherd and weaver girl in mythology. It falls on the 7th day of the 7th Chinese lunar month. In 2020 that's August 25 (Tuesday).

2. ACNH Cowboy Festival

Items: Rodeo-Style Springy Ride-on

Price: 2,000 Bells

Available Time: August 1st to 31st

To celebrate the Brazil’s “Cowboy Festival”, a new limited edition item - Rodeo-Style Springy Ride-On is added in to Animal Crossing New Horizons. The event in question, called “Cowboy Festival“, has in its description the inspiration for the Brazilian rodeos, and the information that it will have cattle and horses. There is also an image of a new item, a horse toy on spring, which can be purchased in the game with purchase with Nook Miles or Bells from Nook Shopping app on your NookPhone.

3. ACNH Grape Harvest Festival

Items: Grape-Harvest Basket, Grape Fruit (To be confirmed)

Price: 800 Bells

Available Time: September 1st to 30th

As you know September is a season for harvest, to celebrate the Grape Harvest Festival, a new limited time item - Grape-Harvest Basket comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons during the month of September. Then you can purchase it from the "Seasonal" section of your Nook Shopping app for 800 Bells. It’s a extremely cute basket that carries grapes and can be worn on the back. Though the Grape-Harvest Basket isn't the first grape-related item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it has sparked a number of conversations as to whether new collectible fruits - grape will be added to the game.

4. ACNH Moon-Viewing Day (Mid-Autumn Festival)

Items: Moon Rug

Price: 2,000 Bells

Available Time: September 7th to October 8th

Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated notably by the Chinese people, relates to Chuseok (in Korea) and Tsukimi (in Japan). Moon-Viewing Day in Animal Crossing is also known as Autumn Moon or Harvest Moon Festival, is an annual event that occurs on the full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, a Moon Rug will be introduced in to ACNH as an event souvenir.
