This guide is going to be a gear update for our fist of heaven's paladin on the Diablo Resurrected Ladder, we'll go over a breakdown of the skill tree and the gear aw well as D2R items and also talk about the start of the guide we want to open up again: the debate of conviction versus redemption, because this keeps coming up over and over again, we think redemption is the kingpin aura, for the Fist of Heaven's Paladin we'll explain that in this guide.

 

What is the best aura to use on a fist of heaven's paladin? Conviction or Redemption?

If you are trying to focus on group gameplay support and you want to maximize your lightning damage, conviction is a solid option. Why we think the redemption aura route is a better option is because it opens up a ton of versatility including we think the endgame mercenary setup that we want to rock is an act to fight or a mercenary that's using fortitude, Andariel's Visage, and then the doom because that will provide me holy freeze crowd control support that mercenary will also have might or so he'll do tons of damage and then we won't really have any issue with mana because again we have the redemption or support.

Combat Skills

  • Put 20 points to Holy Bolt.

  • Then put 20 points to Fist of the Heavens.

  • Put one point into everything else.

 

Defensive Auras

Put one point to Prayer, Defiance, Cleansing, Vigor, then max Redemption.

 

Best Gear Build

  • Weapon: Flail

  • Weapon Rune Word: Heart of the Oak

  • Armor: Skullder's Ire

  • Helms: Harlequin Crest

  • Amulet: Mara's Kaleidoscope

  • Shield Rune Word: Spirit

  • Boots: War Traveler

Gameplay Tips

This is a solo player one chaos run in b-net toggling, on the off-hand we have vigor so we basically discharge to where the lava starts and then we  just use our telestaff, it's typically about six teleports to get to the entranceway of chaos sanctuary, and then we just go to town, you could get the DPS up but you're totally fine not having a CTA on this build just charging around like a mercenary never dies even though his gear we think he could argue with the exception of the flag, it's a pretty budget setup too but we think this character is pretty much built for sea bailing.

 

You have to get a minimum 220 caster amulet with a 220 circlip probably two wizard spikes enigma Magefist practice mesh try and get two really nice FCR rings that are gonna kind of be like the next build you can try and shoot for, you can see you're super chill chaos sanctuary runs, you don't need conviction at all mercenary gets around, crowd control kind of pushed back to space, and movement speed is just phenomenal like it's such a good character.
