ACNH Events & Items 2022 Summer - Animal Crossing New Seasonal Events from June to August

From June 1, ACNH Northern Hemisphere enters the Summer season and a slew of new holidays are coming, along with summer seasonal items 2022. The Wedding Season has already underway at Harv’s Island, the Fireworks festival usually kicks off in August. What events will take place throughout this summer in Animal Crossing New Horizons? Based on the recent content updates, let’s go through all ACNH Summer events and items 2022 in June, July and August.

ACNH Events & Items 2022 Summer - Animal Crossing New Seasonal Events from June to August

Summer months have the most seasonal items in the game, since the launch of Animal Crossing New Horizons, we’ve got 28 different updates in the past two years, including minor adjustments and major content updates, these bring back some classic events from previous Animal Crossing series, and introduce brand new ACNH items across a diversity of categories.

Since the launch of the last major update last autumn, this should be the last season, we are in the final months of refreshed content and approaching the last item ever added to ACNH through the 2.0 update. There is a total of 13 different seasonal events to celebrate between June and the end of August, including a brand new seasonal event added in August 2022, and three new seasonal items for summer.

2022 June ACNH Events and Items

In June, we have the most events to experience in Animal Crossing, what to note is the addition of Sunflower Sunglasses and Maypole for Summer Solstice in the north.

- Dragon Boat Festival (May 25 to June 3): Festival Zongzi

- Dano Festival (May 25 to June 3): Surichwi Tteok

- Father’s Day (June 1 to June 30): Thank-you Day Mug, Thank-you Day Apron

- International Children’s Day (June 1 to June 15): Handmade Crown, Handmade Cape

- Wedding Season (June 1 to June 30): Nuptial Bell, Nuptial Doorplate, Nuptial Ring Pillow, Flower-Petal Basket, Summer Solstice

- Summer Solstice (June 15 to June 21): Sunflower Crown, Sunflower Rug, Sunflower Sunglasses (New), Maypole (New)

2022 July ACNH Events and Items

July is the only month without new seasonal events and items, so we still have four events throughout the month.

- Tanabata (July 1 to July 7): Bamboo Grass

- Marine Day (July 9 to July 18): Ship-Wheel Door Decoration

- Le 14 Juillet (July 10 to July 20): Phrygian Cap

- Cowboy Festival (July 15 to August 15): Rodeo-Style Springy Ride-on

2022 August ACNH Events and Items

The Tomato Festival is a new ACNH seasonal event based on a traditional holiday in Spain that sees everyone throw tomatoes at each other, it is also the last event of Summer 2022, to celebrate it, from August 20 to 31, you can buy Tomato Festival Tee in Nook Stop using 1,000 AC bells.

- Cowherd & Weaver Girl Day (August 5 to August 14): Orihime Outfit, Hikoboshi Outfit

- Obon (August 10 to August 16): Cucumber Horse, Eggplant Cow

- Tomato Festival (August 20 to August 31): Tomato Festival Tee

When we look forward to the end of August, there are no further items or refreshed content that can be experienced by players. It would make sense if Nintendo is planning something new for the future of Animal Crossing New Horizons.
