TOP 3 BEST CLASSES IN WOTLK CLASSIC

Top 3 Best Classes In Wrath of the Lich King - What Are Best Classes To Play In WotLK Classic

As WotLK Classic is a sure thing, despite it being likely towards the end of Q4, many people are wondering which classes are hyped to play around with and why. WotLK in general was a peak for a lot of classes and class mechanics being fleshed out that would tag along for years and years to come, so there's a lot of exciting stuff to mess around with. Now, let’s go over a shortlist of most overpowered classes in Wrath of the Lich King.

1. Most Popular Class To Play - Death Knight

Of course you want to play the new shiny class of Wrath of the Lich King, a superior tank to all others than prop paladins yet still in certain situations even outshine our mighty protection paladin. In terms of DPS, they have amazing cleave and single target damage with two very unique felling DPS specs, the death knight really can do it all. He brings hysteria for your feral druid whilst also being able to bring haste for your melee, horn of winter for strength and agility, 10% attack power, this one single tank need to be able to bring so much buffs.

The fret is amazing single target to the point where icy touch is the single highest target in the game and once that boss is on you, you have no worries about losing him. Cooldowns to massively reduce the amount of spell damage you take, cooldowns to make you immune to stun and reduce all damage take, interrupts, silences, pets, you have everything. Dual wielding is one of the most fast-paced proc driven dps classes in Wrath of the Lich King, only closely rivaled with enhancement shaman, you see amazingly big crits on multiple targets using inhaling blasts, massive single target hits or crits with obliterate and a unique resource system in the form of runes and runic power to break the ordinary fill or all Wrath classes or unholy using pets to deal massive damage and spreading hard hitting diseases is amazing, and in most cases will out damage frost. Anyway, if you can play the death knight well, you will be a pumper.

2. WotLK Classic Best Class To Play - Paladin

One of the most powerful classes in Wrath of the Lich King is the Paladin especially the prot paladin. Compared to a prot warrior, the prot paladin is like a power drill and a prop warrior is like a screwdriver. With a screwdriver, it takes a lot of effort to screw something in and it takes such a long time. But when you play a paladin, it's done quick and easy and the thing is they both get the job done, but one is going to be a lot more pleasant to play. When you play a prop paladin, it's going to be easier, it's going to be quicker, you're going to be better, both can fulfill the role, one will do it better. So prot paladin is very overpowered.

Paladins have the greatest number of broken specs, times, and locations. As a result of powers like sacred shield and beacon of light, Paladins are well-equipped. Holy paladins are the best healers in PVE and PVP, and they also happen to be the most mana efficient. The prot paladin is one of the finest tanks in the game, able to withstand a large amount of damage in an aoe scenario without running out of mana thanks to divine plea, which is a new skill. Overall, Paladin just shines as one of the most overpowered classes in Wrath of the Lich King in most situations.

3. Most Overpowered WotLK Class - Warlock

The third most overpowered class in Wrath of the Lich King is the warlock. Affliction warlocks are one of the most consistently overpowered and powerful dps classes in Wrath of Lich King in pve dealing exceptional damage throughout each raid tier, and a lot of that is due to the completely reworked talons which optimize the affliction warlock for damage and less about utility, which was the case in Burning Crusade. You'll notice that warlocks do a lot of execute damage, they also have excellent raid wide buffs which they can provide to a raid in all three of their specializations whether that's improved health. Improved fel hunter in the affliction tree whether it's demonic pact in the demonology tree or improved soul leech in the destruction tree warlocks are absolute beasts in pve and Wrath of the Lich King.

When it comes to pvp, warlocks have also changed a lot, the demonology once again is still not super great in pvp, but affliction is still super great for pvp, destruction is what has changed a lot in wrath and is really a beastly good pvp spec. In TBC, that wasn't really the case lsl was the way to go, but now in Wrath, destro warlocks are amazing in pvp paired with a high damage spell caster like an elemental shaman and these two can blow up a target in mere seconds in Wrath of the Lich King. Not only that but rls which is roguelok shaman is another gladiator tier arena comp that warlocks can join and dominate in. There's also cool new abilities too that warlocks have with their demonic teleporter and chaos bolt going through absorption effects. Warlocks truly do have everything that they need to tear it up in pvp. And since warlocks do so well in both pvp and pve, that lands them on the most overpowered classes list.
