Animal Crossing New Horizons 1.4.2 Update is released to fix the glitches and bugs were caused by the update 1.4.1 and 1.4.0 and 1.3.0, covering glow spot and villager mails. Now follow us to check out the complete details of ACNH 1.4.2 Patch Notes

Animal Crossing New Horizons Patch 1.4.2 With Some Bug Fixes

Some of the recent updates to Animal Crossing: New Horizons not only brought new content to the game, but also created issues. With the update 1.4.2 from August 20, 2020, Nintendo wants to fix these errors. ACNH Patch 1.4.2 does not bring any new content or mechanics is game. These are only bug fixes that fix the letter problem, where certain message cards did not arrive in the player's mailbox as desired. Before we check out the official path notes, let’s dive into the highlights of the patch:

Sumo Ring Carpet

The first was a fix to the sumo ring carpet, that’s available from sahara. As some of you probably already know there was a pretty bad glitch, where it would actually become invisible in both the inventory and when placed on the floor, instead of the sumo ring carpet what you would see in the texture tile from the current wallpaper. It was actually pretty cool to see but of course not intended. This issue was introduced in the previous version 1.4.1 update and now is fixed.

Random Crashing of Dream Island

The random crashing some players experienced whilst visiting dream islands was fixed, this was introduced in version 1.4 along with the dream suite mechanic and whilst we don’t know the exact details to what caused the crashes. It has now been fixed so should be perfectly safe to visit dream islands without any crashes or interruptions.

Glow Spot

The mos of the most notable fixes in 1.4.2 patch is with the glowing dig spot or shinning soil as Nintendo referred to it as. This is the one glitch most people have encountered. The latest patch actually fixes the issue that caused the glow spot to spawn directly behind buildings and in other strange places, sometimes, making it nearly impossible to find on certain days.

Villager Mails

It seems that occasionally mail sent from villagers, you’re close to wouldn’t ever arrive in your mailbox, even though the game knew the animal had sent them. Luckily though this has been fixed and it turns out your dreamy doesn’t hate you after all.
