Diablo 4 Season 10 could be one of the most interesting seasons yet, introducing sweeping class changes, aspect reworks, significant buffs and nerfs, and a game-changing new system: Chaos Uniques and Chaos Armors. If you're planning your leveling or endgame grind, this tier list will help you understand which builds stand out, what's changed for your favorite class, and what to look out for as you step into the new content.

DIABLO 4 SEASON 10 TIER LIST

Diablo 4 Season 10 Class & Build Changes

First of all, let's review. Season 10 brings a mix of buffs and nerfs across all classes, alongside the new Chaos Armors system that fundamentally changes itemization and build potential.

Chaos Armors: A New Layer of Power

A standout feature this season is the introduction of Chaos Armors. Unique items like Banish Lord's Talisman, previously only available as amulets, can now drop as gloves, boots, or other armor pieces, with the unique effect boosted by 20%. This opens up new gearing strategies, allowing you to use standard amulets with powerful stats and aspects, while moving unique effects to other slots. The result? Many builds will have access to more multipliers and flexibility.

For example, a Necromancer can now equip Ebon Piercer boots and use a regular amulet, stacking even more offensive power. Similar possibilities exist for every class, and the impact on overall build strength is massive.

General Class and Build Adjustments

  • Resource Generation: The resource system has been adjusted, notably lowering the power of Lucky Hit resource generation (which now restores a flat value rather than a percentage). This means most builds can no longer rely on nearly infinite resource loops without significant gear investment.

  • Damage Multipliers: Several core aspects and legendary nodes have shifted, with some builds losing multipliers and others gaining compensation in other areas.

  • Boss Loot Table Changes: Many classic uniques have been moved or removed from boss loot pools, replaced with new Diablo 4 items or shifted to different activities. This changes where you farm certain gear for your builds.

Diablo 4 Season 10 New Best Builds Tier List

Here’s an overview of the strongest builds for Season 10, focusing on their performance both for leveling and endgame content. This list takes into account the changes to Chaos Armors, resource generation, and aspect reworks.

S-Tier

1. Crackling Energy / Charge Bolts Sorcerer

Despite a heavy nerf to Hydra, the Sorcerer stands out thanks to immense buffs to Crackling Energy and Charge Bolts. With the new aspect interactions, Charge Bolts now fire piercing waves, and stacking mana with new uniques like the Lockorn's Talisman pushes their damage extremely high. Sorcerer is poised to be one of the top tier picks for both leveling and endgame.

2. Twisting Blades Rogue

Rogue receives a substantial buff to the Blade Dancer’s Aspect, raising the damage multiplier significantly, especially when placed on a two-hander. Twisting Blades was already a strong build, and with the additional buffs, it's expected to secure its place as one of the best overall builds, particularly for pushing high-tier content.

3. Hammer of the Ancients (HOTA) Barbarian

Hammer of the Ancients Barbarians benefit from a strong buff to the Ancestral Force aspect, especially when fighting bosses. With the stacking multipliers and recent improvements to HOTA, this build is back in the spotlight for both solo and group play.

A-Tier

4. Mage Minion Necromancer (Ring of Mendeln Build)

The Mage Minion build, especially with the Ring of Mendeln, remains highly competitive. While minion damage is reduced, the build is less negatively affected by recent changes compared to others, and the addition of Chaos Armors gives more flexibility and power. Expect this build to perform well in both speed farming and late-game content.

5. Bone Spirit Necromancer (Shattered Spirit / Gospel of the Devote)

A new unique focus opens up empowered basic skills, especially for Bone Spirit builds. With bone splinters now piercing and the Gospel of the Devote unique, this build offers a powerful playstyle with strong AoE and boss damage. It’s one to watch as the meta develops.

6. Bleed & Shred Hybrid Druid

Druid sees a mix of buffs and nerfs. Bleed Barbarians get increased bleed duration and skewer radius on Rupture, while Shred Druids can still deal solid lightning damage. Some companion and storm aspects have been reworked, opening up new combinations. Ravens and Quill Volley builds are also worth considering, as both have improved cooldowns and damage.

B-Tier: Strong, But With Caveats

7. Corpse Explosion Necromancer (Shadow & Plagued Variants)

Corpse Explosion took a hit with the Wither node changes, heavily reducing damage for DoT builds. However, upcoming Chaos powers that allow consuming corpses multiple times could restore its former glory, so it’s a build to keep an eye on as more testing is done.

8. Overpower Blood Wave Necromancer

With the nerf to DoT-based Blood Wave, the Overpower version is coming back. It will still utilize shadow scaling, but won’t rely on DoT for damage.

9. Bleed Barbarian

Bleed Barbarians gain increased bleed duration and radius, allowing for wider and longer-lasting bleeds. While not the strongest overall, it’s a solid option for leveling and farming.

C-Tier: Niche or Specialist Builds

10. Blood Surge / Blood Lance Necromancer

Both Blood Surge and Blood Lance have been affected by the loss of Blight’s damage multiplier and only received minor compensation. They remain playable, but currently trail behind other Necromancer options.

11. Stormclaw & Tornado Druid

Stormclaw and Tornado builds received adjustments, with Tornado now dragging enemies and objects for bonus damage. These changes bring some novelty, but their performance is yet to be fully proven in high-tier content.
