ACNH October Update 2021 - Events, Seasonal Items, DIY Recipes, Critters | Animal Crossing New Horizons Fall Update

In October, we enter the middle of Autumn or Spring on our Animal Crossing New Horizons islands. As usual, except the weather and scenery on the island will get change slightly, there are bulk of new events, seasonal items, DIY recipes, and critters return in the middle of Autumn in a refresh manner somehow. So here we break down every part and sort out this guide of ACNH October Fall Update for 2021, keep reading to learn what you can expect in the Halloween season.


ACNH October Update 2021 - Animal Crossing New Horizons Fall Update 2021

Enter October, on Animal Crossing New Horizons, players from Northern Hemisphere will encounter a more cozy Fall weather and landscape; while on Southern Hemisphere, Spring continues sizzle on players’ islands. Obviously, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is likely to see the return of familiar events and items in October 2021, but some new updates including new events also will drop into the game. 


ACNH October Seasonal Events and Items (2021)

In October, there are not too many seasonal festivals to be celebrated. Perhaps it is for this reason that Nintendo tries to add new events to keep the game interesting. But don't worry, we will be preparing for Halloween at the end of the month for almost the entire month.


Fishing Tourney

Date: October 9th

Items: Fish-related items (Tackle bag, Fish umbrella, Fish-drying rack, Fish print, Fresh cooler, Fish rug, Fish doorplate, Fish-print tee, Fish wand, Marine pop wall, Fishing-rod stand, Anchor statue, Fish pochette)

Again, Fishing Tourney will be held by CJ on the 2nd Saturday of October as a huge amount of fishes take their return to our islands no matter on Northern Hemisphere or Southern Hemisphere in this month. By taking part in the all-day event and catching as many fish as you can in a short limited-time, you can earn interesting fish-related items and bells (selling fishes). 


Halloween Event

Date: October 31st

Items: Spooky Set Items

In October we ushered in one of the biggest festivals of the year-Halloween. Although it takes place on October 31st, we actually celebrate almost the whole month. From the beginning of the month we can grow pumpkins and collect Spooky DIY recipes to craft Halloween Items, and we can buy these seasonal items and costumes from the store. Day of the Dead

Date: October 25th to November 3rd

Items: Marigold Decoration

The Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday widespread throughout South America and is celebrated every year between the end of October and the beginning of November. It will be added into Animal Crossing New Horizons first time in October as a brand new part of ACNH fall update. Similar to other common seasonal events in the game, you will be available to buy a special limited-time item - Marigold Decoration with bells. 


ACNH October DIY Recipes & Crafting Items (2021)

With the arrival of autumn in Northern Hemisphere, Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers crating materials and DIY recipes entirely dedicated to the elements that characterize the season: acorns and pine cones, pumpkins! While in Southern Hemisphere, Young Spring Bamboo have mushroomed up shot and Cherry Blossom are flying all over the sky, so it is great time to collect some for crafting Japanese themed items. Unlike the rest of the year, during the October it is possible to collect these seasonal items that bring with them various novelties all themed!
