WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5 Tank Tier List - Best M+ Tanks Ranked In Dragonflight Season 3

Today, we got a WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5 tank tier list of what we think is going to be meta for Mythic plus. We will mention that every single tank is solid right now we've got some of the best tank balancing you have ever seen in WoW and unless you're pushing higher in Mythic+ like plus 25 and up, play whatever you want and enjoy.

WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5 Best Tank - Dragonflight Season 3 Tank Tier List M+

To explain the WoW Dragonflight Tank M+ tier list for season 3, we've got S which is the god tier and is the highest rank. A tier is awesome, slightly below S tier because of some weaknesses. B is pretty much good all around, you can play in most types of content just lack either defensively or offensively compared to these other tanks. C is obviously meh, they need some tuning or changing to bring it up to par with these other ones and then D needs rework and needs to change! Now, let's jump right into our Dragonflight 10.1.5 tank ranking for Mythic+.

S Tier

Guardian Druid

Guardian Druid is S tier. 100% they are one of the best tanks in Dragonflight patch 10.1.5. Guardian is absolutely busted, a majority of the dungeons do a lot of physical damage and Guardians deal with it so well. They've got so much damage mitigation with iron fur and thorns of iron for physical damage, bark skin, and survival instincts, incarnate the tier set helps with self-healing and increases their damage and HP, you literally feel like a beast. Guardian does solid AOE damage and single target. Not to mention the talent changes that are coming up here are going to make them even better.

Vengeance Demon Hunter

Vengeance Demon Hunter is the best Dragonflight 10.1.5 tank. Vengeance DH is rising up as Guardian Druid being number one, but Vengeance DH is phenomenal. Their four set is incredibly insane with fiery brand, which helps with their damage mitigation and also helps with your damage output for single target and AOE. Most importantly, they do probably the best single-target damage in the game for tanks. They've got two incredible builds right now too to push in high content. Both of them are really fun and viable. This spec has been insane in 10.1 and it's going to carry over in 10.1.5 without a doubt.

A Tier

Protection Paladin

They are still absolutely phenomenal but with Guardian Druid and Vengeance Demon Hunter just rising up even more, especially with the dungeon nerfs, they beat out Prot Paladin. They're not getting any changes in 10.1.5, but that doesn't mean they're not going to be incredible. They even receive nerfs at the beginning of season 2 which hasn't stopped them. They've still completed some of the top keys in the game. The damage isn't anything insane, it's on the lower end especially compare to Vengeance Demon Hunter and Guardian Druid. But they have a lot, they bring a lot to the table defensively. They've got a divine shield for huge pulls or in tough scenarios just it's in mass AOE taunt. They are by far one of the best tanks in 10.1, and that's going to stay for 10.1.5 for sure. If you want to improve and get better, there's a really high skill ceiling for Protection Paladin.

Brewmaster Monk

We’re going to put Brewmaster Monk next to Protection Paladin. Prop Paladin is better than Brewmaster Monk because of the utility they bring, but Brewmaster is just all-around a great Dragonflight WOW 10.1.5 tank. They have so much mobility and it's the most mobile tank in the game. They excel at doing AOE damage and are fantastic for one-shotting mechanics with a stagger. There are less of one shot of mechanics this season than there were previously, but that's why they bring some slightly down on this Dragonflight M+ tank tier list 10.1.5. They don't bring the same utility as some of these other tanks but they do really well just around everything. What brings them down is just they don't bring the same physical damage and magical damage mitigation.

Protection Warrior

They are so good that we’re going to put them in A tier on the WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5 Mythic+ Tank ranking. They're not actually that much different than season 1 even after the nerf. Furthermore, they're incredible and easy to pick up. They got great mobility, tons of defensive CDs, AOE time, two group Suns with shockwave and in cap shot, storm bowl for single target, etc. This tank is jus good all around and this season's physical damage mobs, they hit really hard, and Protection Paladin does so well. While they may be lower on this Dragonflight tank tier list 10.1.5, they are perfect. The two set increases how much AOE damage you can do while also buffing your tankiness with the last stand. It's a huge damage increase. They're phenomenal in Mythic Plus, that's why they shine better in Mythic plus than they do in Raid. This spec was insane in season 1, definitely going to be insane in season 2 and it's going to carry on to 10.1.5.

B Tier

Blood Death Knight

Blood DK is right below Prot Warrior. AMS is great for dealing with magic damage anti-magic shields. If you got death grip which is incredibly helpful for Mythic+ in every single dungeon But it’s better in raid usually than Mythic+. They deal with magic damage pretty well, maybe the best out of any other tank. This tank is just incredibly forgiving to play and not only that but you will 100% out heal your healers with almost every single key. They get some buffs soon but they're really good, especially with all the self-healing you have, you can solo. This season for whatever reason has so much physical damage to every single tank and Bloody DK does worse than every other tank in that area. That is why we’re putting them in B for the Dragonflight 10.1.5 tank tier list M+.
