The patch 10.1.5 patch is dropping into WoW, which specs will dominate in the mid-end of Season 2? Let’s update the Dragonflight 10.1.5 DPS Tier List for PvP (Arena, Solo Shuffle) and PvE (Mythic+, Raids)!

WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5 DPS Tier List (PvP & PvE)

The 10.1.5 patch brings forth notable victories for certain DPS specs, particularly the Ranged specs. The class tree shared by the three Mage specializations undergoes a significant revamp, with Frost Mages receiving a substantial rework that enhances their overall strength. The new mid-range DPS specialization -  Augmentation Evoker with how it's tuned currently is an absolute monster like maybe the best spec in the game, also probably means it's highly likely to get nerfed quickly within the first week of the new patch. There are some big Mana changes happening specifically for DPS and in particular classes that can provide a lot of extra utility or off-healing or use healing to like to sustain themselves in a fight which Enhancement Shaman is one of the primary candidates. The positive update is that the news regarding the 10.1.5 patch is largely positive. While a few specifications have been overlooked, the majority of them are actually being addressed, signifying Blizzard's ongoing progress in implementing changes at a steady pace. So it is time to update the new DPS rankings for PvP and PvE content now!

How do We Rank The DPS Specs?

In order to rank our DPS, we will be doing so by taking each one and assigning it across three distinct metrics:

1. The first of which is damage which is mostly weighted towards good AOE damage, however, we will also take into account both single target damage and priority damage as these are equally significant factors in determining overall damage output.

2. The second metric is survivability, this aspect holds significant importance, particularly in season 2 where certain mechanics and bosses can inflict very sustained high damage, therefore specs that are naturally durable and well kitted to handle such mechanics are valued very highly.

3. Lastly, we have the third metric utility this is quite comprehensive and includes several factors - mob control which comprises crowd control slows, interrupts, and general AOE crowd control options available to the spec, and general party-wide utility encompassing beneficial Buffs, cooldowns off, healing capabilities, battle races, dispels, and any other elements that contribute to enhancing the specialization's overall usefulness inside of dungeons and arans.
