WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5 Fast 447 iLvl Gear Up Guide for Mains & Alts

Patch10.1.5's new content such as Myth Upgrade Track, Mega Dungeons, and Fractures in Time events will bring players new gearing ways so that you can fast gear up your mains and alts to 447+ ilvl in Season 2!

  • 1 - Myth Gear Track (441-447 ilvl)

Myth Gear, the highest tier in Season 2, surpasses the hero tier. By utilizing Crest Stones, you can upgrade your gear up to level 44. In the new patch, Blizzard has confirmed that any item obtained in Season 2 with an item level of 441 or higher will automatically be converted to the Myth Gear Track. This change will be retroactive, as stated in a Blizzard announcement.

To further upgrade your gear to level 447, you will still require the corresponding Crest, specifically the Shadowflame Crest. However, it's important to note that a significant discount on flight stones will be available, making it easier to increase your item levels on alternate characters.

Additionally, there's an exciting change that allows you to complete Mythic+ dungeons at a difficulty of +16 or higher. These dungeons will drop items with an item level of 441, which can be taken to a vendor and upgraded all the way to 447 using the new Myth Gear Track. This means that if you prefer not to tackle the more challenging +20 dungeons this season, you can still acquire powerful 447 gear by spending currency. This will also increase the demand for keys of +16 or higher, which will be beneficial for gearing up your alternate characters.

To recap, any existing gear in your inventory with an item level of 441 or higher will automatically qualify for the Myth Gear Track upon entering the new patch. Furthermore, starting from patch 10.1.5, any gear obtained with an item level of 441 or higher, including raid drops, will also be eligible for the Myth Gear Track. Don't miss out on this opportunity to upgrade your item levels.

  • 2 - Mega Dungeon Gear (437-441 ilvl)

There's a fresh source of gear available in the form of a newly introduced Mega Dungeon. This dungeon is launched with the Mythic difficulty option, allowing you and four friends to team up and take down the challenging bosses within. The Mega Dungeon consists of a total of 8 bosses, earning its name due to its impressive scale. Similar to the mega dungeons in previous expansions such as BFA and Shadowlands, this dungeon will naturally be split into two separate Mythic+ dungeons in Season 3.

The Mega Dungeon offers a wide variety of loot, including weapons, trinkets, and armor for all different classes and equipment slots. All of these items drop at an eye-catching item level of 437, putting them on par with heroic raid gear. Moreover, you have the opportunity to further enhance these items to a higher item level of 441 using crests and flight stones.

This Mega Dungeon provides an alternative gearing option to Mythic+ dungeons, whether you're gearing up new characters or seeking that one missing trinket for your main. If you're looking to diversify your gear sources, be sure to explore this exciting addition.

  • 3 - Time Rift Gear (402-424 ilvl)

The third brand new source of gear is that of Time Rift event vendors. Now Time Rift event here is going to be the fastest way to gear brand-new alts. If coming into 10.1.5, you are already geared to the max on your main, this might not be as applicable to you and it's really simple to obtain the brand new ketchup gear, especially for your alts. Players can just participate in the brand new Time Rift event. These are new events that are introduced with the patch and 3 brand new events occur every single hour until dresses. So this is where you get the gear from in between Valdrakken the capital city and Tryhold.

402 Veteran Track Gear

There's a whole bunch of brand new NPCs they added in 10.1.5, now the first type of brand new ketchup gear can be bought from this NPC called Everbreeze, she's selling gear for every single slot at the item level of 402 on the veteran track. This is free 402 item level gear for your fresh alts, you can then quickly upgrade them to 424 on the veteran track, which means for your fresh alts, it's so easy now to get raid finder equivalent gear item level to get you started on your brand new Avengers in 10.1.5.
