The big Diablo IV 1.1 Patch Notes just revealed, here we’ll go through the key points for the Druid class in the first season, which features new uniques, new aspects, buffs/nerfs, changes, and the best Season 1 Druid build in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Patch 1.1 New Unique Item for Druid

The Druid class is getting a new unique D4 item called Fleshrender (Unique One-Hand Mace), it debilitating Roar and Blood Howl deal 0.5-1.0 damage to Nearby Poisoned enemies, this is probably gonna deal around 4K base damage to poisoned enemies, it seems like there's going to be even more emphasis on poison for the Druid.

Diablo 4 Patch 1.1 New Legendary Aspect for Druid

Druid also gets a new aspect called Subterranean (Offensive Aspect), the description is Poison Creeper’s active also casts Landslide in a circle around you. Earth Skills deal 10-20% increased damage to Poisoned enemies. Landslide is a great leveling skill for Druid with poison creeper, probably being the best early clear skill for the Druid, and the poison creeper will now automatically cast Landslide and we're gonna get more damage to poisoned enemies. Poison Landslide Druid is going to be the way to go for D4 Season 1 leveling and probably the build that's going to last you until at least level 60 to transition to some of the late-game builds.

Diablo 4 Druid Changes in 1.1 Patch Notes

There are some fixes in Druid gameplay, for example, they fixed an issue where Stormclaw's Aspect allowed Shred to do extreme amounts of damage. The Stormclaw's Aspect was allowing Shred to double dip, it was pretty insane and it was allowing Shred to compete with some of the best builds and even dominate Uber Lilith, now there is no more double dip, and Shred is now dealing significantly less damage and it feels much worse to play shred. Is this does affect the Uber Lilith kill? It should not. the Stormclaw's Aspect when you were stacking poison was still dealing or was dealing like a hundred million damage, now it should be dealing about 15 to 20 million, which is still gonna be killing bosses, but this absolutely hurts clear speed for kind of quick use of shred, shred is going to be even more about stacking poison damage.

There is a massive nerf that Prime Grizzly Rage now grants Unstoppable for 6 seconds instead of while active. In a lot of Druid builds with the aspect to increase the amount of time that you're in grizzly rage for upwards of 27 seconds, now only 6 seconds, this is really bad for the werewolf version of Grizzly Rage because you can only use Werewolf skills and there aren't any werewolf skills that can actually make you Unstoppable while you're in grizzly rage.

What Are the Best Druid Builds in Diablo 4 Season 1?

The Druid class did take lots of nerfs from the Diablo IV Patch 1.1, Symbiotic Aspect Cooldown reduction reduced from 4-8 to 3-5, this affects the Crone Bulwark build, but Bulwark is still going to be doing millions of damage and probably Druid's best nightmare dungeon pushing build. So it doesn't look like the Crone Bulwark Druid build was changed really at all, it should still be insane in D4 Season 1. However, the nerfs to the Envenom and the Werewolf form of Grizzly Rage make Druid become a lot less tanky and a lot less survivable in the tornado builds, the lightning builds and the shred builds. Shred is still going to be really good for bossing, but should be pretty nerfed for mobbing, and there's going to be a lot of build diversity on Shred, the Poison Landslide might actually be a viable or super viable end-game setup.

With the addition of the Subterranean aspect and the brand new Poison Creeper Landslide ability in Patch 1.1, there is a new Druid build, which is going to be meta in Diablo IV Season 1, is Trample Slide Subterranean Druid, you are going to be incredibly fast and doing massive amounts of damage with it.
