WoW Dragonflight Patch 10.2 Content - Dragonflight Season 3 Raid, Zone, M+ Dungeons & Changes

In WoW Patch 10.2:Guardians of the Dream, along with the Dragonflight Season 3, we are going to get a new zone, a new raid, a new mythic+ dungeon pool, a new PvP season, profession updates, and some other changes or improvements.

Story and Zone - Emerald Dream

So we're going to finally be visiting the Emerald Dream, it's going to look as if it's located west of the Ohn’ahran Plains although at least for now it's not going to be west of the Ohn’ahran Plains. From the sounds of it, it's going to be an instanced area, so we can go inside, we can fly around, there's going to be dragon riding, there are tons of cool places to explore and it's really nice looking. But if we were to try to leave the area like go back to the other Ohn’ahran Plains but not touched by the dream that's not going to let us do it, the zone will just kind of like shoot us back over to the actual Emerald Dream exploration area.

We're going to defend a new world tree that's been planted by Toranda, a little while back and we're trying to protect it from the forces of rock and the Druids of the Flame and a whole host of other baddies. We as players are going to be assisting the dream warnings, that's actually going to be the renown track with 20 renowned levels to level up. We can probably expect a very similar flow to the other renown that we've seen throughout Dragonflight, although we don't know about a very specific activity that's related directly to the dream wardens.

Mythic+ Dungeon Pools

The Mythic+ dungeon pool will continue to be refreshed for 10.2 Dragonflight. The tradition of bringing back older dungeons from the game’s past expansions is continuing to play a factor in the way that dungeons are selected. And in season 3, there will be no repeats from either Dragonflight or expansions past in the Mythic+ dungeon pool. For the first time in this expansion, new dungeons released in Dragonflight are also being added to the pool, with Mythic+ players getting their first glimpse at Dawn of the Infinite. As is usually the case with new “megadungeons,” Dawn of the Infinite is split into two wings on Mythic+ difficulty, with four bosses being present in both halves. Beyond Dawn of the Infinite, there are six other dungeons being added to the mix, many of which are old-school favorites and others being thematic powerhouses that fit in perfectly with the narrative of Dragonflight Patch 10.2.

  • Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond’s Fall

  • Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond’s Rise

  • Waycrest Manor

  • Darkheart Thicket

  • Black Rook Hold

  • The Everbloom

  • Throne of the Tides

  • Atal’ Dazar

Zone Activity

The zone though just like the other Dragon Isles zones is going to have a special community event, this has several stages to it and the first one is called a super bloom, where you escort a big tree and it's dropping stuff, we are trying to defend it from bad guys. From there, we collect seeds around the area and then finally we plant stuff, it just seems to be a multi-stage event, it's very strongly encouraged that multiple people join up. But they do want to address some of the misgivings from the researcher's event and other events, it's a little bit hard for people to complete things on their own. So what they're going to do is if you at least complete the event at a minimum, let's pretend it's kind of like the researchers Under Fire event. As long as you just complete it, you're going to get the maximum reward, but if you want to continue doing it or if you want to do quotes better at it, then you'll get additional rewards but you're totally fine with just doing the bare minimum.

Side Quests

While the majority of the story is going to take place in this slice of the emerald dream, there are going to be other stories that happen throughout the dragon Isles. We are going to continue the story of tier and possibly complete that quest line. There is also going to be more dragons added in the game, and hopefully, in a later patch, we're going to see the grand conclusion with all the dragons of Azeroth are uniting against.

New Raid - Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope

There's a new raid called Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope. It's going to be a 9 boss raid, it has two kinds of wings, one of which is somewhat untouched by the forces of fro and the other is one that is very much touched by the forces of fro. From the looks of it, it's a temple that's designed to protect this new world seed that was planted. Fyrakk is after it and he is going to be the final boss.

There's going to be a new special legendary that's going to come off of this raid, we don't exactly know how to get it but we are going to guess that you have to run the raid content. It's a two-handed sword, so of course it's going to be limited to two-handed players, we're going to see plenty of Warriors and Paladins and Death Knights just wanting to fill up all the raid spots.

Class Set and Dragonriding Skins

It's not just power that we're looking for, there are plenty of cosmetics to look forward to. Here's a short preview of some of the class tier sets that are going to be showing up.

There are also going to be new dragon riding style mounts that come out, some of these come in the form of skins like the Fey Dragon one as well as the Fyrakk, but there's also different model type, it's this owl looking thing, this is going to be part of the dragonriding family. And hope that many mounts that have been added over the past couple months are eventually going to be able to Dragonride.

We're seeing different skins and customizations for Druids. The special flame here looks really awesome, this is may be one of these customizations that people can get.
