The Season 3 Mythic Plus is under testing on the PTR, the 10.2 Patch Notes have been released in that there are a ton of massive class changes as well as brand new tier sets for each class specs. Now the top question we've gotten is which are the best specs coming into Season 3 M+ dungeons? So today we'll cover the top specs across DPS, healers, and tanks to main in Dragonflight 10.2!

Dragonflight Season 3, Patch 10.2: Balance Tuning and Class Tiers in their first iteration are out! With an eye at the Raid and Mythic+, how do these changes look so far for all Specs? Who are the better and worse ones based on the testing from the 10.2 PTR? Because there is a massive amount of changes for all the specs, we won't have a TL;DR here. But we've sorted out the new Dragonflight 10.2 Mythic+ Tier List to tell who will be the winners and the losers in the upcoming Season 3 update. We will rank the DPS, Healer, and Tank Specs respectively, and highlight the specs that are most affected by these changes.

WoW Dragonflight 10.2 M+ DPS Ranking

As always, we will definitely see balance tuning for certain DPS in Dragonflight Season 3, especially classes that were weak in previous seasons, but most DPS specs will not be updated. We have a clear winner for now in the 10.2 PTR when it comes to the strongest DPS, that is the Outlaw Rogue - due to the rework and tier set bonus, the Outlaw Rogue is incredibly overpowered in the PTR and doing extremely high amounts of damage. Unholy Death Knight, who is also at the bottom of Season 1 M+, seems to be about to reach the peak of his life - they have carved themselves a niche in Dragonflight Raids on PTR, consistently being one of the top single-target damage. These two professions that were originally at the bottom of the melee DPS ranking will likely become dark horses in Season 3! While the biggest Nerf in 10.2 may be for Shadow Priest, Power Infusion Priest getting a 5% Nerf may cause it to lose the S-Tier Ranged DPS status it maintained in Season 2 M+. In addition to this, we can also see Havoc Demon Hunter, Balance Druid, Evoker, and Demo Warlock will get some minor changes, we could expect to see them have better performances in some flights.  With that said, let’s make our predictions for Dragonflight 10.2 DPS Tier List for Season 3 Mythic+:

Dragonflight 10.2 M+ Healer Ranking

In the upcoming 10.2 patch, there will be significant changes to healer specs. Restoration Druid, Restoration Shaman, Preservation Evoker, Discipline and Holy Priest, and Holy Paladin will receive generous buffs. The focus of these buffs is to enhance single-target healing and improve mana regeneration. Some examples of improved mana regeneration sources include Mana Tide Totems for Shamans, Daybreak for Holy Paladins, and Symbol of Hope for Holy Priests. With that being in mind, let's sort out the Dragonflight 10.2 Healer Tier List for Season 3 Mythic+:

Blizzard also is going to make some big changes to tanks on Patch 10.2 with the class balance tuning and tier sets. Now the Brewmaster Monk has been the strongest tank in Season 3's Patch 10.2 PTR. Even though they have no class nerfs and changes for this tank, only the new tier sets make the Brewmaster Monk feel smooth to play in Mythic+. Vengeance Demon Hunter might emerge as a surprise top-tier tank in 10.2 also mainly due to his brand new tier set - it generates a ton of Soul Fragments and this could be a total game changer, especially during the big Mythic+ pools. The spec rankings for Dragonflight 10.2 Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons are subject to change as class tuning evolves. Currently, the specs can be winners or losers based on two factors. First, if they were already strong or weak before the patch and are receiving no changes, they are likely to continue being strong or weak. Second, if they were average and were receiving significant buffs or nerfs, their power level could change. It's important to note that these observations are based on the first 10.2 PTR build, and further updates may impact the rankings.
