Diablo 4 Abattoir of Zir Event Guide

Diablo IV Abattoir of Zir is an endgame Pinnacle dungeon event. They're meant to be challenging for the player. It's a complete race against the clock, you jump in kill as many demons as you can, and fill up that progress bar. Once complete, a boss will spawn, kill the boss, and do this all before the timer runs out. You will not be able to enter until you complete all seven tiers of your D4 season journey event. Once this task is finished, go ahead and head over to the occultist, a new recipe will be available for a Bloodforged Sigil, so you're going to want to go ahead and craft one, use it, and consume it. Once consumed, a portal will open up in Ked Bardu. It's a big blood portal, just go in there. Keep reading our D4 Season 2 Abattoir of Zir event guide, we'll break down everything you need to know about the holiday event!

D4 1.2.3 Abattoir of Zir Event Rewards

1. Tears of Blood

Bonus:

  • For every 5 core stats purchased within range, you gain 2.0%[x] increased damage.

  • Grants +50.0% bonus to all rare nodes within range. Bonus increases by 10% every levels.

By completing the Abattoir of Zir dungeon, you will now earn a brand new Tears of Blood glyph. This incredibly strong D4 item boosts rare nodes within its range. But different to nightmare dungeons, it has a cap 10 times bigger than normal sigils. You will also get a recipe to craft a Blood Forge Sigil, one tier higher than what you just completed at the occultist.

What's the Highest Level of a Bloodforged Sigil?

The sigil and dungeon both go up to tier 25 but this covers a much wider difficulty range than you might be used to from 25 tiers. By condensing this large difficulty curve down to only 25 tiers, you want to make sure that each tier feels like a meaningful goal that you can strive for on its own.

Best Build For D4 Abattoir of Zir Event

Ball Lightning Sorc can do it since it is a powerful and versatile build in Diablo 4. It is a great choice for players who want to play a ranged character with high damage output.

Skills

  • The Ball Lightning Sorc uses the following skills:

  • Ball Lightning: The main skill of the build, Ball Lightning creates a ball of lightning that orbits the Sorc and damages enemies.

  • Chain Lightning: Chains lightning between enemies, dealing damage to each one.

  • Static Surge: Increases the damage of Ball Lightning and Chain Lightning.

  • Teleport: Teleports the Sorc to a short distance, allowing them to escape danger or reposition themselves.

  • Energy Shield: Creates a shield around the Sorc that absorbs damage.

Equipment

The Ball Lightning Sorc should focus on equipment that increases their Lightning damage, Cooldown Reduction, and Maximum Mana. They should also use equipment that has sockets so they can add gems to further increase their stats.

Here are some specific pieces of equipment that are good for the Ball Lightning Sorc:

  • Helmet: Lightning Conduit

  • Chest: Stormheart

  • Gloves: Sparkfists

  • Pants: Storm Leggings

  • Boots: Storm Boots

  • Weapon: Lightning Rod

  • Off-Hand: Static Orb

  • Rings: Any rings that increase Lightning damage, Cooldown Reduction, or Maximum Mana

  • Amulet: Any amulet that increases Lightning damage, Cooldown Reduction, or Maximum Mana

Gameplay

The Ball Lightning Sorc is a very mobile build. You should use Teleport to reposition yourself and stay out of danger. You should also use Energy Shield to protect yourself from damage. To deal damage, simply cast Ball Lightning and Chain Lightning on enemies. Static Surge will increase the damage of both skills. If you find yourself in a tough spot, you can use Teleport to escape or use Energy Shield to absorb damage.
