Preparation for Team of the Year has already begun, today we are going to discuss what you should be doing if you are someone who does want to prepare. This is everything that you need to do if you are getting ready for Team of the Year EAFC 24.

How to Prepare for Team of the Year in FC 24 - Things to Do to Prepare for TOTY FC 24

The Team of the Year event in FC 24 is highly anticipated by players, as it features the best players in the world. To make the most of this event, it's important to prepare in advance. The reason that we know exactly what to do for Team of the Year is because it's not a new thing, we've been through this many times before and EA never changes up the calendar. They'll certainly add more to it as time goes on which just gives more reason for you to get involved a lot sooner. People have already started and it does get sooner and sooner every single year. It starts with the very first step of selling your team.

1. Sell Your Team

The idea is that you can sell your team now to claim as many coins as possible. And throughout December player prices will continue to go down, as we approach within January and then eventually Team of the Year towards the end of January players will continue to go down in value. By the time Team of the Year does finally release because there are so many people opening packs during this time. You see a massive dip in every player. During this time Team of the Year players and also honorable mentions get released in which they do fluctuate in price, but everyone else will go down. That is just where attention goes from whoever is the best at that current moment to all Team of the Year players who will be the best all the way up until Team of the Season.

And after the Team of the Year promo, that is when people start to buy back the players they initially sold on, because they're going to be a fraction of the price that they were originally. They're able to make a difference, in a lot of cases, you'll be able to upgrade your team quite considerably, but being able to buy much better players for the exact same price in which you sold your original players. So with this, it is worth going through your club and selling anyone who is tradeable who does still have some value. With the exception of a few selected type of players, this is going to be any special card which is valued towards that lower end.

2. Stock Up on Cheap Promo Cards

The biggest thing that you can do though is start stacking packs. People do this because they don't really like the promos available that we have throughout December and the beginning of January. They would much rather have a Team of the Year because these end up being the highest rated players within game, and depending who you get which is typically defenders, midfielders, they will probably be valued 800,000 Coins. With your midfielders and attackers, it's likely 1.5 million plus going even higher than that. And even though you have a much higher chance of being able to pack good players as part of promos throughout December, beginning of January compared to you being able to get one of these Team of the Years during the team of the Year promo, people still like to test their luck and the best way to do this is to stack packs. That means going through Division Rivals, getting at least 3 wins in order for you to qualify for a reward and then going on to get 7 wins to max out that reward for that week.

3. Game Modes

You then want 1,250 qualification points which can then be used to go into the Champions playoffs, where you're going to claim your packs from there and then you're also aiming to get into the Champions finals, where you'll also be able to claim your packs there. From that, you'll go into squad battles to get as high of a rank as possible. You'll use your coins, draft tokens, or even FC points to go through draft whether that be single player or online. You'll also go through moments to try and build up as many stars as possible. So that by the time Team of the Year does roll around, you can spend those stars on packs.

4. Objectives

You may also want to go through some challenges which require you to play through friendlies. Objectives ends up being the best way to grind packs purely because of your seasonal progress and the content at EA releases. As long as you know what challenges are available, it's easy to stack these up, so that you're getting packs from objectives itself and also competing within the game modes we just mentioned. But with everything that we've just mentioned, you're not going to open them you're going to send them to your club and you're just going to let them stay there, stay there for the next month until Team of the Year has finally released.

5. Save Packs till TOTY

With this there do appear to be some limitations, for example the store will typically save 99 packs, if you continuously keep on sending packs across it will still save 99. But packs are still saved in the background, so this can actually turn out to be hundreds or even thousands depending on how many you save, it's just visually, it maxes out at 99. You also can't go through every single pack within the store. It only shows the first 30, so once you get to 30 if you were to get a Team of the Week pack from SBCs or any type of content that EA releases, you won't be able to open that if you've got way more than 30 packs, because you won't be able to come and see it. It's also pointless saving that Team of the Week pack for Team of the Year, because it doesn't upgrade, you'll still get Team of the Week players during that period. You can however see all of your packs if you head over to the web app. You'll be able to go and find the store and you'll be able to scroll through, so you can open packs over there.

And with this, what you may find is that you have a lot of players as part of your club because there's a source for them, every single game mode that you go through will reward you with packs in some way. With those packs, you get players, whether or not they're good or bad, it doesn't really matter because you can encycle those players through SBCs. But the second that you start stacking these packs and not opening them eventually you get to a point where there are no new players coming in because the second that you do get players coming in you have thrown them over to SBCs. And because you're not opening those packs you get from SBCs, you're saving them, nothing really happen, you can't recycle anything at this point and there are only a couple options with this. Once you get to that position, you can not worry about SBCs and just avoid them completely because what you're doing is now getting packs just from the game mode.

6. Trading

Another option is that you start to put more emphasis on trading. Even if it's a very simple trading method such as bulk building or sniping, that way you're able to get coins coming in and with some of the profits you're able to make. You will then buy players for trading, but you'll also buy players for SBCs. That way you're able to build up your coin balance, continuously keep on Trading, still complete SBCs and still be able to stack packs from them.

7. Draft

If you're someone that enjoys spending money on the game, then you could always buy FC points and just continuously keep on going through draft. With draft, even if you go out in the very first round, your reward is equivalent to what it cost in order for you to enter. That doesn't mean you're going to get anything good because it still comes down to a chance. But the value should be around 15,000 coins or 300 FC points. And you can continue to keep on going through draft from now all the way to the release of Team of the Year promo to keep on building up your packs.

8. Buy Coins

You could always buy coins, if you're buying coins, you're then able to use those coins to then buy players, and then use those players to go through SBCs to stack as many packs as possible. MTMMO can be a good choice to buy FC 24 Coins!
