4/11/2023 6:05:34 PM

Now, beyond relic gear, even ancient gear will be introduced in Lost Ark with the upcoming April update. Ancient gear provides higher stats for relic gear, so it is a way to expect a certain spec up. How to craft this ancient gear set, what is the honing level, and what is the recommended honing order? We will explain based on the clear rewards for each gate in Brelshaza Hard.

Lost Ark Ancient Gear Conversion Guide (Honing & Transfer)

Along with the April update, Lost Ark has released information on relic gear succession and ancient gear in preparation for the next raid. It is possible to hone previous relic gear and upgrade it to upper relic gear with materials obtained from Brelshaza Normal mode, and this time, upper relic gear can be transferred to ancient gear with the materials obtained from Brelshaza Hard mode.

Lost Ark Ancient Gear Honing

There is currently only one way to craft ancient gear. It is "crafting" using "Phantom Intentions" obtained by clearing the Brelshaza Hard Gates. Clearing Brelshaza Hard 1, 2 gates 7 (+More 7), 3, 4 Clearing 7 (+More 7), 5, 6 Clearing 8 (+More 8) can be obtained. In addition, in the case of gates 1 and 2, you will receive an additional 30 Phantom Intentions when you clear them for the first time. Assuming you clear all of the 5th and 6th gates and even complete all of them, you can get 74 in the first week and 44 per week thereafter.

How Many Phantom Intention & Mats Needed For Honing Ancient Gear Set?

So, how many "Phantom Intention" do you need for crafting Ancient Gear? It is said that the weapon requires 100 pieces and the remaining 5 parts require 40 pieces each, so a total of 300 "Phantom Intentions" are needed. Calculated as a period, it will take a total of 6 weeks. Due to the nature of Hard Difficulty, there are many parties that don't go all the way to Gates 5 and 6, in which case it takes a total of 10 weeks. If additional purchases are made through an auction, the period may be further reduced.

Ancient Gear Recommended Honing Order

In fact, there is a big difference in the order of production depending on individual taste. This is because the ancient gear is not have a spec that has a big difference that is clearly visible compared to relic gear. So, we will explain in order of the parts of the ancient gear that high-level users are prioritizing based on Lost Ark.

Ancient equipment production order Gloves→ Shoulder Armor→ Helm → Chestpiece→ Pants → Weapon

The first crafting equipment is the glove. This is because armor has the greatest impact on attack power compared to other parts except for weapons.

After that, replace the Shoulder Armor, Helm, Chestpieces, and Pants in that order, and change the weapon at the end.

In terms of attack power, it seems good to change the weapon first, but it seems that it is not very efficient in the big picture because it requires nearly 3 times the material.

Lost Ark Ancient Gear Transfer

If you have crafted gear, you should transfer it from the existing gear, right? If you are a user who wants to craft Ancient Gear, you must have already made Upper Relic gear through the "Phantom Hor" that came out after clearing Brelshaza Normal difficulty. And you must have transferred from the gear you previously made through the Valtan and Vykas raids. During this process, the level and grade of the gear do not rise as it is, but the correction occurs, so unless it is a special case, you should have seen a slight level increase benefit.

So, what difference does it make when transferring new Upper Relic gear back to new Ancient gear? Summarizing the results, there is no difference at all. The basic level of the item was changed from 1340 to 1390 as it was already passed on to the new artifact equipment, and corrections were made for this.

However, it is not exactly the same as a relic. In the case of existing Relic gear, the upper limit was set at 20 levels (1590) of the succession level, but the difference is that the transder level has been expanded to 25 levels in the new ancient gear. However, after level 20, it has been adjusted to rise only by 5 levels, not by 10 levels, and accordingly, the maximum level possible now is 1615.
