Lost Ark Elgacia & Kayangel: Release Date, Item Level, Requirements, Rewards & Relic to Ancient Stone Upgrade
After Brelshaza, we are continuing on the new story. Today we’ll focus on the upcoming Lost Ark Elgacia & Kayangel and go over the release date, item level (ilvl), requirements, rewards, as well as the upgrade of the relic to ancient ability stones and level 2 to level 3 gear sets.
Lost Ark Elgacia Release Date & Item Level
Elgacia is the next continent coming to Lost Ark Western and is confirmed to be released in June 2023, to venture it, players need to reach an item level of 1460, Kadan and Nineveh will lead you to Elgacia, the land of Lazeniths, which consists of a series of flying islands. The addition of Elgacia also brings the chance to a brand new abyss dungeon called Kayangel. It does not come with Guardian Raids or Chaos Dungeons.

Lost Ark Kayangel Release Date & Item Level Requirements
Kayangel is a four-player Abyssal Dungeon that is going to be available along with the release of Elgacia in June, you need to complete the Elgacia story first to access the Kayangel. It has Normal and Hard modes, requiring you to achieve different gear scores for four difficulties. And each mode has two gates. Compared to other abyss dungeons, Kayangel is more challenging and it is on par with legion raids.
- Kayangel Normal: 1475
- Kayangel Hard I: 1520
- Kayangel Hard II: 1560
- Kayangel Hard III: 1580
Notice: the Kayangel received changes in the Korean version, which means we are probably getting the same thing. Now the Abyssal Dungeon Kayangel will consist of Normal/Hard difficulties and 4 gateways. We'll list two versions of Kayangel rewards in the following content.
- Kayangel Normal: 1540
- Kayangel Hard: 1580
Lost Ark Kayangel Rewards
By doing Kayangel normal and hard in Lost Ark, you can get main rewards including tickets, and materials to upgrade Relic Ability Stone to Ancient Stone and Ancient Gear Level 2 set bonuses to Level 3. Gold and mount rewards are added later. Tickets are available for any difficulty and materials can only be obtained starting from Hard 1. Materials to upgrade a gear set can only be earned once you get into Hard II.
Kayangel Normal Rewards (Original Version)
- Gate 1: 8 tickets (base), 8 tickets (chest), 400 gold (chest cost)
- Gate 2: 12 tickets (base), 12 tickets (chest), 600 gold (chest cost)
Kayangel Hard Rewards (Original Version)
- Hard 1 Gate 1: 13 tickets (base), 13 tickets (chest), level 1 to level 2 stone upgrade material, 700 gold (chest cost)
- Hard 1 Gate 2: 17 tickets (base), 17 tickets (chest), level 1 to level 2 stone upgrade material, 800 gold (chest cost)
- Hard 2 Gate 1: 18 tickets (base), 18 tickets (chest), level 1 to level 3 stone upgrade material, 1 set upgrade material (base), 1 set upgrade material (chest), 900 gold (chest cost)
- Hard 2 Gate 2: 22 tickets (base), 22 tickets (chest), level 1 to level 3 stone upgrade material, 2 set upgrade material (base), 2 set upgrade material (chest), 1100 gold (chest cost)
- Hard 3 Gate 1: 20 tickets (base), 20 tickets (chest), level 1 to level 4 stone upgrade material, 2 set upgrade material (base), 2 set upgrade material (chest), 3 set upgrade material (auction), 1100 gold (chest cost)
- Hard 3 Gate 2: 30 tickets (base), 30 tickets (chest), level 1 to level 4 stone upgrade material, 3 set upgrade material (base), 3 set upgrade material (chest), 5 set upgrade material (auction), 1400 gold (chest cost)
Kayangel Gold Rewards (After Patch)
- Normal: gate 1 - 800 gold, gate 2 - 800 gold, gate 3 - 1200 gold, gate 4 - 1700 gold
- Hard: gate 1 - 1000 gold, gate 2 - 1000 gold, gate 3 - 1500 gold, gate 4 - 2000 gold
Kayangel Normal and Hard Rewards (After Patch)
The patched Normal difficulty rewards of Abyss Dungeon Kayangel are the same as the previous Hard II difficulty. The updated Kayangel Hard rewards are the same as that of the previous Hard III difficulty. In addition, when you clear the Hard level 2, gate 4, you can get Mount: Wings of Silence and Mount: Taboo Wings based on chance.
Lost Ark Ability Stone Upgrade Materials and Cost - Relic to Ancient Ability Stone
There are a total of 4 levels of Ancient Ability Stones, each one corresponding to one item level and distinct upgrading materials. Other than the following materials, you also need to spend 6000 Lost Ark gold for each stage.
Relic to Ancient Level 1: Spear of Light, 6000 gold
Ancient Level 1 to Level 2: Correction of Order, 6000 gold
Ancient Level 2 to Level 3: Sphere of Brightness, 6000 gold
Ancient Level 3 to Level 4: Book of Judgment, 6000 gold
