Diablo 4 Most Fun Class & Builds - Funnest Class Ranking at D4 Launch

Each of the five classes in Diablo IV has a diversity of different abilities and unique mechanics, which makes them perform differently in fights, which one is the most fun or funnest class in D4? We list the top and least popular options in terms of the Diablo 4 fun tier list and also the most fun builds for Druid, Necro, Barb, Sorc, and Rogue.

1 - Druid

Druid is a popular character at Diablo IV launch because it is one of the most fun classes and well-balanced, it's hard to play as the Druid especially until you get a really good legendary where you use pulverize and it sends out a wave of energy in front of you, that's very cool and makes life much easier, but before that, the Druid is just kind of weak. But the mix of melee weapons, shapeshifting features, and animal summons makes Druids a variety of options for creating specialized or versatile builds and acting different roles in the game. You can turn into a werewolf or werebear, there are so many different ways to play Druid and all of them are kind of interesting.

- Most Fun Druid Build: Shred Druid and Werewolf Storm Druid, your base storm skills will become werewolf skills in Werewolf Storm Druid, which gives you plus two ranks to all storm skills, that is sort of the synergy between being a wolf and being able to still be a storm nature magic Druid at the same time with Tempest Roar.

2 - Necromancer

Necromancer is one of the most Op classes, it has some incredible spells like Bone Spear and Bone Shards, also a bunch of minions that you can summon and send them to go attack, all of these things are a lot of fun at the beginning, it also means that you are a little bit less engaged, you don’t have to do as much you can. However, the legendary might have an obvious impact on it. Blood Mist is an ability you can get on legendary weapons and basically what it does is when you turn into Blood Mist, you go into a red ball of mist normally that just makes you invincible, you can get a bit of health back, any corpse you go over explodes and does a lot of damage that kills enemies, they will also explode and cause damage to the rest, it also has an extra ability that lowers the cooldown of Blood Mist, if you go into a group of enemies where there’s already a few corpses, you can clear out entire rooms by constantly exploding in pools of blood, this looks amazing and it is a huge amount of fun. Necro is one of the most fun classes that you can use to go through any content.

- Most Fun Necromancer Build: Demon Bomb Necro is probably one of the most fun Diablo 4 builds for Necromancer, with this build when you have the proper gear, there's almost no downtime at all and there are explosions going off on the screen constantly.

3 - Barbarian

The number three and also the mid-tier fun class in Diablo 4 is going to be Barbarian, this is a melee class, you need to get close to enemies and you are often putting yourself in danger, but this also makes the gameplay much more engaging. The way you build up your ability is fun, there is a ton of different skills that give you rage and when you spend it, you can literally jump onto enemies and the middle of a big fight, then do the whirlwind thing and start spinning around to kill everything. Barb also has a super fun finishing move, which is also very powerful and cool.

- Most Fun Barbarian Build: Rend Barb and Hammer of the Ancients Barb are some of the funnest Barb builds to use in D4, they are also good for leveling and endgame.

4 - Sorcerer

Sorcerer (Sorceress) is an undoubtedly powerful class in Diablo IV, you can easily go around dungeons and zap everything with electricity, it is able to kill huge groups very quickly, the ice spells allow you to freeze everything and shatter it and do insane damage. However, similar to the poison, the damage over time is not that exciting to do, in addition, even though it kills everything on the screen, you really don’t do anything, just stand still and see it happen, it is not that engaging to use the Sorc class. Some people think it is clunky and does not feel impactful and impressive enough.

- Most Fun Sorcerer Build: When it comes to the recommended D4 fun build for the Sorcerer, Frost Sorc builds are so much fun at endgame, it does insane damage in both solo and group play, whether you are against individual mobs and groups of enemies.

5 - Rogue

Rogue has some cool abilities, you can teleport around you, you can go invisible and you can poison everything, but none of them really adds up to something that is fun to play. When you go through a fight, invisibility does not really matter because stealth isn't a big deal in the game, you can escape by restoring your health, but other classes don’t need to stop fighting, they can keep on going, which makes the ability a little useless. It’s also not a lot of fun to use the shadow abilities to make enemies explode, a lot of your attacks are just damaging one or two enemies at a time, it's not like you're getting explosions that are clearing the entire level. Compared to other classes, Rogue might be the least fun class to play in Diablo IV, but its teleport shadow step is absolutely amazing, you can teleport right across the screen and stab something in the back and then teleport straight back, you can also get movement buffs with this character.

- Most Fun Rogue Build: After the D4 launch, there are many people who think Rogue is fun to play, if you want to play it, one of the most fun Rogue builds is Shadow Flurry.
