Lords of the Fallen Best Magic Spells

Top 15 Magic Spells in Lords of the Fallen 2023

Lords of the Fallen features three types of magic for players to utilize - Radiant, Inferno, and Umbral. Each magic type has a specific weapon catalyst required to equip and cast spells associated with that school, whether it be healing and buffs for Radiant, offensive pyromancy for Inferno, or the dual attribute-dependent Umbral magic. Players must equip the appropriate catalyst in their weapon slot, and then assign spells to buttons for quick casting. To successfully use magic, spellcasters must manage their mana resource that depletes with each cast, relying on resting at bonfires or consuming mana-replenishing items to keep their abilities fuelled during extended fights against Lords of the Fallen's many formidable foes. Proper selection and use of the game's magical abilities enhance build viability and strategic options in combat situations. So here we've sorted out the best magic spells to use in Lords of the Fallen 2023 so far!

Lords of the Fallen Best Inferno Spells

The Inferno school focuses on direct fire damage, burning effects, and area-of-effect explosions to decimate crowds of enemies. Proper use of Inferno magic can turn the tide in many tough battles. Here are the top 5 best Inferno Spells you should use so far:

1. Seismic Slam

The first Inferno spell that you want to buy is Seismic Slam. This magic spell is probably the best of the Inferno spells or like definitely right up there. So essentially what this does is it summons an Infernal Hammer to strike on the ground and it sends forth a massive line of explosions directly in front of you, it's really good for those explosions like they actually clutch and it does heaps of damage, and AOE damage. And like even though, there are a lot of enemies that are resistant to fire being able to knock them back with this spell is really beneficial, especially when you're surrounded by a bunch of those little Umbral mobs in the Umbral realm. That's a really great spell that highly would recommend grabbing

2. Magma Surge

Magma Surge is another fantastic spell that will summon an explosive surge of magma on the ground. Now when this charge goes off, it will significantly damage enemies that get hit by it, but it will also leave a lingering fire effect on the ground that can actually ignite enemies and send them a blaze which is really beneficial if you want to like control an area, like a doorway or like a area where enemies have to walk they're just going to walk over it and get ignited and take that damage. It's also worth pointing out here that you don't actually take damage from these pits, typically you do from fire but not from your own fire, so it's actually good for that as well.

3. Adyr's Rage

Adyr's Rage is a shout sorcery that will give you an increase in your physical damage. This is one that comes from that other vendor called Damar Ro and you will first encounter her at the entrance to the Hound boss and then she will move way later in the game and depending on your story choices you might actually be locked out of talking to her. We highly recommend buying everything from her inventory as there is a high chance that you'll never be able to do this again. Adyr's Rage is a great spell, that increases your physical damage - physical damage is probably the main way that you're going to damage enemies unless you're doing like a full magic build because physical damage is typically like the king in these sorts of ways

4. Lava Burst

Lava Burst is a spell in the game Lords of the Fallen 2023. It is an upgraded version of the Infernal Orb spell, which deals massive damage by throwing a fireball that explodes on impact. To cast Lava Burst, you need to have at least 8 points in the Inferno attribute. Lava Burst has the AOE damage from a range that is very good, especially in the Umbral realm.

5. Adyr's Authority

Adyr's Authority is considered a good spell in Lords of the Fallen because it enables you to summon the authority of Adyr, which boosts your damage output. This increased damage can be advantageous in battles against tough enemies and bosses, allowing you to deal more damage and defeat them more efficiently. It can be a valuable asset for players who prefer a more offensive playstyle or want to enhance their damage-dealing capabilities.

Lords of the Fallen Best Umbral Spells

Umbral Spells require both Radiance and Inferno, and they're some of the funniest in the game. The Umbral school specializes in draining and distorting the essence of life itself. It makes the user highly proficient at damaging, harvesting, and utilizing souls as a resource in battle. Here are the top 5 best Umbral spells you should take a try in Lords of the Fallen 2023 so far:

1. Latimer's Javelin

The best Umbral spell without a doubt is Latimer's Javelin, this will hurl an exploding Javelin and enemies. It has a great range, it's also AOE and its damage numbers are just absolutely insane. We don't really understand why this does so much damage, it's probably going to get nerfed if they do choose to do that. But it's really good to use now. This comes from the Hushed Saint remembrance.

2. Umbral Guardian

Umbral Guardian will summon an Umbral Guardian next to you that will follow you around and deal Umbral damage to enemies. This spell can also be purchased from Molhu at Skyrest Bridge, but you'll need to give them the Bowl of Revelations in order to access this. This is a great spell because it's very rare in this game that there is a way to have someone else other than like you know Co-op partner or something come with you to actually just deal damage, now enemies won't attack but they will deal with a damage to them which you can then knock off that health and for any sort of let's say a Grim Reaper build or any build that uses Umbral spells. This is a really beneficial spell to have to just chunk off some of that wither damage to then deal damage to them via this method.

3. Diminishing Missile

Diminishing Missile is considered a good spell in Lords of the Fallen because it summons a homing projectile of Umbral magic that reduces the attack and defense of enemies upon impact. This reduction in attack and defense can be beneficial in battles against powerful foes, as it weakens their offensive and defensive capabilities, making them more vulnerable to subsequent attacks. By utilizing Diminishing Missile strategically, players can effectively debuff enemies and gain an advantage in combat. It can be particularly useful against challenging opponents, allowing players to overcome their defenses more easily.

4/5. Umbral Weapon and Poison Weapon

Umbral weapon adds Umbral damage or magic and Poison Weapon adds poison buildup to your weapon. Both of these two spells are fantastic, anytime you can add status effects to enemies is great, these are really beneficial for certain boss fights. Let's say if they have resistances or they are vulnerable to these damage types, then well worth using for them but both of these are fantastic.

Lords of the Fallen Best Radiance Spells

Radiance spells in Lords of the Fallen 2023 are a group of spells that revolve around dealing holy damage and buffing your stats using the Radiance element. Here are the top 5 best Radiance spells available for players to discover and utilize in the game:

1. Radiant Orb

Radiant Orb is considered the best Radiance spell in Lords of the Fallen for several reasons. Firstly, it conjures a radiant orb that can damage enemies and simultaneously heal allies. This unique combination of offensive and restorative capabilities makes it versatile in combat situations. The combination of offensive and healing abilities makes Radiant Orb a favored choice among players who prefer a balanced approach or prioritize supporting their team. Its versatility, damage output, and ability to heal make it a valuable asset in the arsenal of Radiance spellcasters in Lords of the Fallen.

2. Sanctify

Sanctify will heal you while you're standing within that IUS, it is a great spell for certain boss fights. There's actually heaps of these boss fights that just like run around like maniacs and you can actually just stand in this and get the healing while they're just you know off gallivanting around doing their nonsense, and then you're all sort of good to go.

3. Area of Tenacity

Area of Tenacity will surround you with a Radiant aura that decreases damage received and when you combine this with the healing spells as well you sort of become invincible right but you definitely will take less damage. Now this actually comes from Skyrest as well like in the back area you'll be able to find this just on the ground

4. Radiant Weapon

Radiant Weapon functions exactly the same as an Umbral weapon or poison weapon, it is again a great option and when you trigger that effect does smite enemies you get that sort of lightning-like zigzag that happens, it's a really good option.

5. Blessed Reflections

Blessed Reflections summons radiant duplicates of Pieta to attack enemies. You will have to have beaten Pieta and you get this from her remembrance. This spell is so powerful and again it's very similar to Latimer's Javelin. All of these remembrance spells are very strong because they're like boss spells. But this one will chunk off tons of health and the like spirits it summons can either attack in Millie or range depending on the distance you are from the target and sort of where you summon them.

Guess you ask
