Today we're making a tier list for tanks in Season of Discovery, there're going to be multiple classes capable of tanking, that's 6 of them.

WoW Classic Season of Discovery Ultimate Tank Tier List

S Tier - Paladin

It's the class that received probably the most Buffs, starting with the spec already has readout and shield specialization which increases the block and the amount of damage absorbed by the block.

S Tier - Warrior

We have a five into Shield spec that increases your chance to block attacks with a shield by 5%, and you generate one rage per block, we have an Improved Blood Rage into Last Stand, and we have four points in toughness more armor, less damage taken improved Shield block for extra rage basically because the more blocks you have if you have like multiple mobs on you and then we have one point into Improved Sunder Armor to reduce the rage cost, we could have gone for defines.

A Tier - Warlock

It's one of the new tanking classes that just got modified in Season of Discovery, they weren't able to tank before maybe in aq40 but it was more like a Caster tank, but now they have like a new spell just like the Paladin completely revamp.

A Tier - Druid

We went for five ferocity into five Thick Hide, so you can get armor contribution from items by 10%, one point in a brutal impact, one point in feral charge, three points in sharpen claws, 6% crit, and one point in Primal Fury to get additional rage, the thing is that if you're going for skull bash, you could probably remove thermal charge get two points in brutal impact because they share cooldown skull bash with feral charge, for the glove Rune we have lacerate which lacerates the enemy Target making them bleed for 42 damage over 15 seconds plus 20% weapon damage per existing application of lacerate or to the Target causes high amount of threat, this effect can stack up to five times on the same Target, so it's going to be a big bleed like over 200 damage over 15 seconds continuously, this is going to be pretty good for building consistent threat on the Druid.

B Tier - Shaman

At level 25, they have a bit of a problem, so the shamans will have a five out of five Shield spec into five Critical Strike into five Dodge, now a lot of people say not to go Dodge, because you need to block with the shield to get Mana, but at level 25, you're wearing letter you don't have a lot of stamina your Shield block is very low.

B Tier - Rogue

The basic spec for the Rogue is going to be five into five lightning reflexes 5% Dodge, into 5% Perry into repost, into 5% hit, so we get straight 5% Dodge, 5% hit, and repost this is the combat spec at level 25, Main Gauche is going to be the fer instantly strike with your offhand weapon for normal offhand weapon damage and increase your chance to Parry by 10% for 10 seconds which means now the Rogue is going to have in off hand a slow weapon as well, because it's doing offand damage, so you might want to get two cruel bars, if you can to W speed more damage to do more damage with Main Gauche, you get 10% Parry from here and then you have Just a Flesh Wound, you take 20% reduced physical damage while blade Den is active, Additionally you have 6% reduced chance to be critically hit by med attacks the threat generated by all your action is massively increased, and your faint ability is replaced with teas which tauns the target to you, 20% reduce damage and 6% to creit is great and then you have like a Blade Dance which finishing moves that increase your Parry chance lasts longer and grants more Parry chance per combo point, five points will have a 10% Parry for 30 seconds, Rogue is going to be one of the worst class so far for tanking.
