D2R Best Cold Sorceress Build - Frozen Orb Build: Skills, Gear, Attributes, Mercenary

The Frozen Orb Sorceress is one of the best meta picks for ladder starters and magic builds since its release. The Frozen Orb build, utilizes three significant changes made to the Frozen skill tree, combines it with some Lightning spells (for Anti-cold monster) and we have the best build for you.

1. Introduction

The scale frozen orb is now actually viable in project Diablo 2 and it's because of three significant changes that were made to the cold skill tree. Firstly, FO (Frozen Orb) now deals more damages. Secondly, the cooldown reduction is significantly less than what it was in LOD. Thirdly, CM (Cold Mastery) has been reworked in such a fashion that it adds additional plus percent cool damage as well as minus enemy cooled res. All three of these basically mean that a frozen orb sorceress is now viable it might not be the very best spec to run in project D2, but some early on held difficulty MF strategies to try and get your character off the ground.

5. Frozen Orb Sorceress Mercenary

A pretty decent you know kind of combo here. Paired with chilling armor, his defiance gives a little bit extra defense. We have almost 2K defense, his res is nearly capped before he procs fade. When it is capped, it provides us meditation insight or insight provides a meditation, it's a good manner recovery. He's got decent overall damage, he hardly dies and it's kind of a nice little supplement for us against cold immunes early on in hell difficulty.

Weapon: Stygian Pike

Mask: Tal Rasha’s Horadric Crest Death Mask

Belt: Thundergod’s Vigor War Belt

BootGore Rider War Boots

Gloves: Laying of Hands

6. Three key Points for the Frozen Orb Sorceress:

1. To do farming and Daryl, trying to get your first shako and would you get some decent gear like Viper Magic Shako that kind of thing, then moving yourself onto the snowy tombs or you can do both at the same time.

2. Try to farm to get your other gear like Skullder’s Ire. The newly introduced level 85 areastony tombs, you always skip this place that you never ever actually MF with it's just a wasted area in LOD. As a level 85 area to farm without fire, it is really helpful taking all the elemental damage for beetles and whatnot, this is basically like if you're tired of farming the ancient tunnels, this is the new area for you to MF.

3. As long as you have a remotely decent hitting mercenary, you should be able to handle him like using basic gear treachery non-ethereal insight. Clearing a small wasteland was no problem for him.
