Today we want to introduce a Sorceress build for fast Chaos Sanctuary Players 8 runs in Diablo 2 Resurrected, that is a D2R Fire Sorc 2.5 build with Hydra.

D2R Fire Sorc 2.5 Guide - Best Hydra Sorceress Build In Diablo 2 Resurrected

This is a powerful and versatile D2R 2.5 Fire Sorc build by Snoozey, maxing out Hydra, if you do not want to do Hydra, you can switch it into Fire Ball Meteor and do something else. Below let’s get into the stats, skills, gear, and mercenary of the Hydra Sorceress build.

1. Stats

The attribute points are pretty much similar to other Sorceress builds in Diablo 2, firstly, you're going to want 156 strength at least generally for your Spirit shield, you're going to use Spirit and Phoenix as your primary Shield, which is going to be in a four-socketed monarch shield. Then for dexterity, assuming you have a decent enough torch or any, you don't really need to put any dexterity into here, if you're going to go with a more defensive option because maybe you don't have all of the gear, you might need a little bit dexterity. For the rest points, just drop everything straight in vitality.

- Strength 161

- Dexterity: 70

- Vitality: 459

- Energy: 110

2. Skill Tree

For cold spells tree, put one point into Frozen Armor if you're not getting this off your Call to Arms, for lightning, you're always going to grab Static Field with the amount of damage, if you're fully geared, you could probably save a point and not really even need that, then we're gonna get Telekinesis and Teleport, you're obviously going to want to be teleporting and telekinesis is a requirement for that. The most important one is fire, maxing Meteor and Hydra is essential, and you can put more into Fire Bolt, the important thing is that you're only really getting a three percent fire damage per level from Fire Bolt and Fire Ball, so the Fire Mastery is going to give you more damage.

- Cold Spells: Frozen Armor 1

- Lightning Spells: Static Field 1, Telekinesis 1, Teleport 1

- Fire Spells: Meteor 20, Fire Ball 20, Hydra 20, Fire Mastery 20, Fire Bolt 20, Warmth 2, Inferno 1,

3. Gear

The equipment is standard, you are going to hit your faster hit recovery breakpoints, all of the Diablo 2 items are shown here.

- Weapons: Eschuta’s Temper (Eldritch Orb). The weapon is going to be using Eschuta’s Temper if you're going for a purely offensive standpoint and the reason for that is you're getting plus 25% to fire skill damage, the max role in this is going to be a 20 fire damage, using a rainbow facet will add another five percent fire skill damage, this is really important because your Sunder charm is going to knock the monster's resistances down to 95, instead of being immune to you, after the resistances are moved to 95, all of your minus enemy fire resistances from these rainbow facets that are in your armor and your weapon, and then your helmet and shield also give some minus enemy fire resistance, all of that stuff stacks at 100. It also gives you +3 to Sorceress skill levels, you have the socket, put the face in there, get a bit of energy, and that faster cast rate.

- Weapon II: Call To Arms (Flail).

- Shield: Phoenix (Monarch). You can get a redemption aura, so once you kill the monsters, their bodies will be on the ground and the aura will give you a chance to get health and mana back, that way you don’t have to use potions. Another reason for using Phoenix is that you can get the maximum lightning resist and maximum fire resist, as well as fire absorb and lots of benefits. One of the most important things would be the minus 28 to enemy fire resistance.

- Shield II: Spirit (Monarch). The offhand option will give you Battle Orders and Battle Command.

- Helm: Flickering Flame (Bone Visage). On the helmet, you are getting a resist fire aura, which is going to give you a lot of fire resistance that you are going to have to make up from your fire sunder charm, the Flame Rift giving you a minus 70 to 90 is what those can roll. On top of that, you are getting plus 3 to fire skills and lowering enemy fire resistance by 13.

- Amulet: Mara’s Kaleidoscope. This is for some extra resistances since the build requires some faster hit recovery and some additional resists.

- Armor: Skin of the Vipermagi (Serpentskin Armor). It gives a +30% faster cast rate, you also get plus 35 to all resistances, which is really high.

- Gloves: Magefist (Light Gauntlets). This is probably going to best-in-slot gloves.

- Rings: The Stone of Jordan. Use SOJs to receive some extra mana regen, if you don’t need that, you also use some rings with the faster cast rate.

- Belt: Arachnid Mesh (Spiderweb Sash). You get the +1 to all skills, +20% faster cast rate, and increased mana, which helps with your mana regen.

- Boots: War Traveler (Battle Boots). It offers +10 strength and +10 vitality, as well as some magic find boosts, if you do not require it, you could end up using Tri-Res boots that would have run/walk on them.

- Charms: Hellfire Torch (Large Charm), Annihilus (Small Charm), Flame Rift (Grand Charm), Shimmering Small Charm of Good Luck, Burning Grand Charm of Vita

Flame Rift[Fire Res -(71-75)%]Annihilus[ATTR+RES: Total 25-29]Hellfire Torch(Assassin)[20 ATTR & 20 RES]

The inventory is going to be pretty standard with a torch large charm and the small charm, the stats do not matter too much, you will need the sunder charm because, in the Hell, there are a ton of fire immunes. For your skillers, you’ll need life skiller charms.

4. Mercenary Gear

Here we're going to use a Desert mercenary, the aura is going to be Holy Freeze, and you're already using Infinity, if they're not immune to cold they're going to take some more cold damage from your mercenary and on top of that, they're going to freeze monsters around you. For the rest gear, Andariel’s Visage is pretty standard, your armor is going to be a Fortitude.

- Helm: Andariel’s Visage (Demonhead)

- Weapon: Infinity (Thresher)

- Armor: Fortitude (Archon Plate)
