Diablo 4 Helltide Event Farming Guide - New Helltide Infinite Cinder Trick & Best Farming Method

What is Helltide?

  • -It's a zone event every 2 hours and 15 min.

  • -Only area to obtain "Forgotten Soul" crafting material, needed for lvl 5 upgrades.

  • -Mobs drop cinders that can be traded for loot at specific boxes

  • -Events also spawn with an increased cooldown in these regions, coming back within 3-5 minutes.

  • -When it rains meteors, theres a chance to spawn an elite helltide mob after the rain is over, in close proximity to you.

  • -An elite beetle mob "Kixxarth, Helltide Assassin" is somewhere in the helltide region. He drops a high amount of forgotten souls.

  • -There are clickable ores and harvestable plants that give cinders and souls, the "Fiend Rose" and the "Screaming Hell Vein". If you see something with a glowing red background those give 3-5 cinders.

Mystery Chests:

  • -Theres a special type of chest in these regions called the "Tortured Gift of Mysteries", that guarantees atleast 1 legendary, up to 4+ drops.

  • -These chests cost 175 cinders and do not show up on the global map but will if you're near one of them, and are guaranteed to have 1 in every zone.

  • -The chests also get reset on every hour, check your ingame clock. Example: If a helltide starts on X:45, there will be 1 box in each helltide region. You can rush 15 min of cinders and buy both, then wait for X:00 for them to reset, and buy them again.

  • -Cinders are extremely hard to farm solo, dropping only 1-3 per mob pack. There is a massive drop multiplier to cinders when you're in a party or near other players.

 

Recommended farming guide:

Get into a group of 4, go to one of the regions on this map where there's a cluster of events. Bounce between the events, finish one and go to the other location asap. You'll farm hundreds of cinders extremely quickly this way. All other regions of the map are relatively empty.

 

New Helltide Farming Method

The specific principle is to find shaman monsters with staffs, 2-3 are the best. Using the principle of summoning, the monsters will be refreshed in situ infinitely. After killing them, they will drop fragments of the regional frenzy, the more people there are the faster you kill, the more you get. This method is more afraid of someone making trouble and killing the shaman directly, according to the test, a team of 4 people can drop about 70-90 fragments per minute, if someone makes trouble, switch planes.

Specifically the method is as follows:

Form a team before the hell frenzy starts, find 2-4 summoning shamans after the fight, you can pull two waves of monsters that are close to each other together, pay attention: don’t aoe the shamans, and then kill them on the spot and you’re done, after 8 minutes, 600-700 fragments began to look for the box of the regional frenzy, and left after taking it.

Efficient speed. Note: A single player can also farm, but the efficiency will drop, about 30 per minute, the more people, the faster, it is best to have 3 monsters, see how vigorously they recruit, and your brushing will also be vigorous.
