Diablo 4 Best Post Nerf Dungeons to Farm XP & Loot - D4 Solo/Duo, Group XP Farm Locations After Nerfs

Blizzard did do a much better job at making the dungeons more well-rounded, and giving a fair amount of XP between the highest dungeon. Here we go over what the best dungeons are now to run for XP per hour that also amazing loot if you are solo farming or group farming. You can use these after the latest patch 1.0.2, the nerf to the dungeon elite density.

D4 Best Post Nerf Dungeon to Solo Farm XP & Loot

The best solo dungeon is going to be Iron Hold, the reason for this is that not only do you get a very good amount of XP, but it actually seems to have the best loot opportunity out of any of the dungeons, it is one of the best XP farm locations in Diablo 4. You can do it in about two and a half minutes and get roughly 400 to 500K XP, not as good as some of the other dungeons used to be and there are a couple other dungeons where you can if efficiently get more XP. But Iron Hold gives way more loot than a lot of these dungeons because it just has way more Elite density. Iron Hold is decent in a group of two, but mainly it's best for solo.

Diablo 4 dungeon XP farm guide

What you want to do is to ignore all mobs and you're trying to just kill the guy that is going to give you a key, we're going to open up the room with the key, he's hiding in the corner, when we get him and then can just go open the door. The beginning of this dungeon is bad, but usually if you have good movement and most of the time he spawns on this part of the dungeon, so it's pretty quick and then we're going to open up the door, there's a little interim area, sometimes you can get unlucky and it takes a second usually if you get this thing, you can nuke it down and then just move on which is quite nice. But kill those guys, nuke it down and then just leave and then what our goal here is to basically instantaneously as fast as humanly possible get to the massive group of elite packs. There are at least two shrines and then anywhere in this part of the dungeon there's going to be two elite packs. So nuke all of it down and you get a pretty ridiculous amount of gear on the ground, but it just takes a little bit longer to get here and then there's nothing over here. So just go circle back around and basically you just want to do this, you get the two big Elite packs. When you're done, you can just reset by leaving the dungeon and then you can just press leave game, load back in and then the dungeon is going to be reset.

Post Nerf Best XP Duo Farm Dungeon in D4

For duo farm, we're going to be doing Blind Burrows which is in Hawezar directly to the right of Zarbinzet, it's very close to Maugan's Works and Ruins of Eridu. The reason this is good in a duo and not that great in a solo is because there's just a lot of trekking around and you're just going to waste your time. But in a two-man, this is just more XP per hour than you're going to get to an Iron Hold. You're not going to get as much loot, but as you can see the dungeon just splits off instantly, so you pretty much want to clear the dungeon normally. There's just a crap ton of mobs, you're not going to get crazy loot. The way that the dungeon is laid out is you're probably going to spend a lot of time like traversing back and forth, so even in a Duo it can be a little bit annoying, you just want to kill these guys. The dungeon's also subject to RNG based on how the layout is, but sometimes you can get way more mobs at the end and other times you just get scammed. But basically, you just want to kill these like infested guys and then you move towards the next part of the dungeon, but along the way there's just a ton of mobs like the dungeon is just very compact and there's just a ton of little dudes. There's not really much Elite density though, so this is pretty much strictly an XP farm if you just want XP. And these guys are a little tanky because they have life still. Once we have killed all the dudes here, there's a shrine here pretty, once we've killed everything, we'll unlock the next part of the dungeon.

So kill a few more dudes, unlock the next part of the dungeon. Get the little Shrine and sometimes there's a good bit more mobs and other times the dungeon just ends, so when you get a lot more mobs, it's pretty efficient. When the dungeon just ends, it is not great. So there will be a boss and then we got a dead end and then there's going to be a boss, the boss is not worth doing because it is just a waste of your time, you don't really get much XP for doing the boss. But if you're in a Duo it's really good XP.

Best D4 Post Nerf Dungeon to Group Farm for XP

The next dungeon is the best if you're in a group is Champion’s Demise, this did get nerfed a ton of times, but it is still very good simply just because of the layout. You're not going to get nearly as many legendaries as you used to, this pretty much used to be by far away the best spot for getting XP, legendaries, unique. Now it's more of an XP thing and we would only recommend it if you have at least 3 people to do it with, because then everybody does their own lane because of the way that the dungeon splits up. Basically everybody can just go to their own side and you can just clear it incredibly quickly that way. If you have one friend that is a little bit lacking, just go to Iron Hold so that you can get more loot because you want everybody to be pretty strong in order to quickly and efficiently clear this. These mobs are pretty much noobs now, not many of them are Elites anymore, so they kind of just get owned, there's not nearly as much like CC and annoying stuff going on. There's not nearly as many Elites like as there is an Iron Hold, you're just not going to get as much loot. Everybody pretty much just does this on their own side. If you're in a Duo, this isn't that bad either, if you don't really like Blind Burrows, feel free to do this as a Duo as well, but they just massively nerf.

The group farm is still the best for XP simply just because of the layout but you're not going to get nearly as much loot anymore.
