Diablo 4 Season 1 Prep Guide

Here’s the best way to prepare for Season of the Malignant in Diablo 4!

1. Your stash, character, legendary items, aspects, gear, gems, and materials are all staying in the eternal realm when the new season begins, you can’t take any of those things with you, so be prepared to make a new character when the new season begins, leaving all those things behind.

2. You aren’t going to lose access to that character, you can always log back in on that character in the eternal realm, you just can’t use that character for the seasonal content.

3. Any parts of the map you explored will carry over when you play the new season, and the renown you earned by exploring them. Also, altars of Lilith are going to be carrying over to the seasonal realm so you won’t have to collect those again.

4. What you earned on hardcore is only transferred over to future hardcore characters and what you earned on softcore characters only transfers over to other softcore characters.

5. If you unlocked all the renown and altars on a hardcore character, but that character died - then you are not keeping that progress when you make a seasonal realm character. So if you have a hardcore character make sure not to kill them off before the new season begins, otherwise all your progress is going to be lost and that’s not going to be fun having to do all that over again.

6. The last thing you can do to prepare is to choose a class and build! Hope the rogue leveling builds we listed above can help you a lot!
