WoW Dragonflight Secrets of Azeroth Event Guide: Quests, Rewards, Achievements & Mounts

The Secrets of Azeroth Treasure hunt has officially gone underway today on World of Warcraft Dragonflight. Here with a quick guide for the WoW Dragonflight Secrets of Azeroth event 2023.

WoW Dragonflight Secrets of Azeroth Event Guide: Quests, Rewards, Achievements & Mounts

Secrets of Azeroth is going to be a 15-day event in World of Warcraft with each day featuring a new clue to solve. Players can earn rewards for completing each day's clue, including a unique mount, the Patty. Doing challenges from the Dragonfight Secrets of Azeroth event every day is like a fun easter egg. We use day 1 of WoW Secrets of Azeroth as an example to tell you the quests, walkthroughs, rewards, achievements, and mounts!

Dragonflighnt Secrets of Azeroth Quests 2023

Day one was a preservationist and a ceremonial spear that we were looking for. Starting the quest is extremely easy. To participate in the event, players must first speak to Preservationist Kathos. As long as you have a character that is able to get to Valdrakken, you will go ahead and teleport to Valdrakken or if you're already there. Then head on into the Inn inside of Valdrakken and speak to Preservationist Kathos who will then start the questline for you.

Step 1 - Open the box

The first quest is called Preserving Rarities and you will talk to him after you accept the initial quest and say “I'm ready”. Once you let the preservationist know that you're ready, you're going to receive a mystery box inside of your inventory.

Step 2 - Find Bobby

Right clicking it will open it and you will loot a golden chalice and your first clue for the golden chalice. You will then walk up to Bobby Carlisle who will be sitting at the bar inside of the Inn and they are going to hint at going into the bank. They are going to tell you you need to go into the bank in order to find what you're looking for.

Step 3 - Go to the band

Head on into the Valdrakken bank and on the left-hand side, you are going to see the guild vault. Underneath that guild vault, you will see a yellow highlighted missing chalice. You are going to walk up and interact with it to place the Chalice back down without anyone noticing. Once you have dropped the Chalice, it will complete the preservationist part of this questline, you will need to head back to the Preservationist Kathos that you spoke to earlier to turn in this quest and then pick up the next one.

Step 4 - Find Elder Poa

Heading back to the end to the preservationist, you will turn in the original quest and pick up the tuscarr ceremonial spear. This is going to bring you to Iskaara where you're going to speak to Elder Poa who is bown by the Innkeeper inside of Iskaara. But Elder Poa is going to tell you that this is not a ceremonial spear for the escaren but for a different tribe.

Step 5 - To Dragonblight

This tribe is going to be found in Northrend and you are going to have to bring the spirit to Northrend. The easiest way is to either go to Orgrimmar and take the portal right to Dalaran or if you happen to have a mage character, then you can simply just use your teleport or portal if you're with friends doing this.

Once you are there you are going to want to head over to Dragonblight to Moa’Kai Harbor which can be found on the water. Once you get there you're going to speak to the Elder inside of the main building who tells you that the spear is going to have to be placed at a specific monument. The clue that the Elder is going to give you is going to be a cute little picture of the actual monument that you will be looking for.

Step 6 - Go to Borean Tundra

This is going to be found within the Borean Tundra kind of behind Warsong Hold. Put your waypoint in and go directly to the next area for this quest. Once you arrive at the statue, you're going to see a little spear next to it that you can interact with in order to place it down.

That's going to be the end of day one, you're going to get an achievement called the inquisitive and that gives you a title called the inquisitive. Then you are going to have two of the objectives for the final achievement unlocked.

Now why do this achievement or these little side story quests in the first place? There's actually a pretty cute Mount attached to this Pattie is available once you complete all 15 days of the event that is going to be going on until September 14. So once you complete all of the different events you find all the clues and you uncover all the Secrets of Azeroth, you will have access to Patty the Llama Mount. It's also a safe bet that if we got a title for the first achievement, there might be more.

The Secrets of Azeroth event is a fun and challenging way to explore Azeroth and learn more about its history. It is also a great way to earn some unique rewards. If you are looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to participate in the Dragonflight Secrets of Azeroth event.
