Best FC 24 4-3-2-1 Custom Tactics and Instructions - How to Play 4321 Formation in FC 24

The 4-3-2-1 formation, also known as the "Christmas Tree" formation, it's the ultra-attacking version of 4312. There are four defenders, three central midfielders, two attacking midfielders, and one lone striker. The shape resembles a Christmas tree when viewed from a top-down perspective, hence the nickname. This formation places a strong emphasis on compactness and control of the central areas of the field. The three central midfielders work together to control possession, provide defensive cover, and initiate attacking moves.  The target man as striker is a very good finisher or strong, and the CFs can stretch the back line with blistering pace. This formation relies less on crossing and more on shooting and through balls.

Best Custom Tactics for 4-3-2-1 Formation FC 24

Balance on the defensive style, don’t use pressure on every touch or press after possession loss, they're very good really on EAFC 24 at this moment in time. Defending is probably the hardest thing to do at the minute in terms of when you're jockey and your players are a little bit on ice skates. You're not in control of your defenders when you're jockey and it is a very weird animation that they've brought in this year. So balance is the way to go. The defensive width, go down to 45. The defensive depth, using 60 depth, but if you are someone that really doesn't like the high line at all, you can use 55 depth. For the offence, go with balanced build up play, direct passing for chance creation, make the width a little more narrower, so go to 45. The reason for that is we make the left forward and right forward to be very close to strike, it just makes it easier to attack with, easier for it to create opportunities. Go up to 7 players in box, that is actually the same on every single custom tactics at the minute. Corners and free kicks of course is going to be 2 and 2 to stop us getting counter-attacked on.
