D2R 2.7 MF Guide: Best Magic Find Gear for All Classes in Diablo 2 Resurrected

Magic Find farming in Diablo 2 Resurrected is one the favorite thing to do for many players because there's nothing that really matches the thrill of dropping some incredibly rare item, especially when it's one you've been searching after for a very long time. Now here right in the D2R guide today, we are going over every single piece of magic find gear you can get to improve your MF farming effectively!

D2R Best MF Helms

  • Harlequin Crest with Topaz (Best Option)

With the Shako, you get 50 Magic by night right off the bat almost always someone sticks a Topaz in to get you up to 74. Of course, it has doodle skills - life, Mana, damage reduction, and absolute go-to you see everybody running around with this piece of gear on all the time because it's so amazing.

  • Tarnhelm & 3 Socketed Helmet with Topaz (Budget Options)

Now when you jump into other different types of gear there's a budget option such as the Tarnhelm that also has Magic Find on it. But we would generally go for even something different than the Tarnhelm for a budget option and that is simply getting a 3 socketed helmet. You're having some Topaz in it getting you that 72 magic find. This is the beginning of the ladder go-to for any magic-find character because obviously, you can get gems anywhere. That's the options for helmets as far as the end game and as far as budget options as well.

  • Griffin's Eye (MF+DPS Option)

Obviously, if you're on a magic-finding character, in some cases you want to have more damage and more cast rates. So really you might not want to stack necessarily magic find up, here one instance we could think of is the Nova sorceress, then you want to have on Griffin's Eye. But when you're speaking of magic find gear specifically the Shaco is an absolute go-to.

D2R Best MF Armor

  • Enigma (Best Option)

Enigma is the absolute crucial clutch go-to, this one has a 94 magic find that's because it's based on your character's level, so it obviously has great tons of other stuff on there. That's why almost every character that magic finds uses this Even if you're a sorceress throw yourself on an Enigma because you get the two to all skills, you don't need to teleport even, but you get a ton of strength which then you can put those stat points into your vitality instead of strength - you have max life, damage reduced, life after kill, absolute bananas on top of that.

  • Skullder's Ire

Skullder's Ire also is a go-to option for magic find and then you actually can throw a Topaz in, on top of that as well getting up even higher. It does have a little bit of other stuff on it too, but mainly it was the go-to for magic find gear.

  • 4 Socketed Armor with Perfect Topazs (Budget Options)

There is also a rune word LemKoTir which can make you Wealth. But in general, in our opinion, we would never make this particular magic find armor, we think the Lam rune and even just the Ko rune aren't really worth it because you can get the same amount of magic find and that's almost all that's on that Runeword is Magic Find by just taking a 4 socketed armor sticking in 4 perfect topazes getting you darn near a 100 magic find on your armor.

D2R Best MF Belts

  • Goldwrap

This is about the only belt option for MF, it is not used quite as often because a lot of times in the belt slot, especially if you're a caster you're going with the Arachnid Mesh with To All Skills. But if you don't really need the clear speed from the To All Skills, you don't need the FCR from the belt as well,  the Goldwrap is a great option for Magic Find.

D2R Best MF Boots

  • War Travelers

War Travelers is the go-to MF option obviously, they can have up to 50 magic find. They do have some other great stats like tend to strength and tend to Vitality, but mainly a fat 50 magic find here.

  • Loath Track

Loath Track are really rare boots but a great option for magic finding with the 23% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items.  In additional, we can other great stats from the boots -  +30% walk run, +30% hit recovery which can be absolutely crucial, and a bunch of lightning/fire/poison resistances (Tri-res boots are absolutely golden on this game). So over on the boot slot War Travelers or rare boots are going to be your options.

D2R Best MF Amulets

This is where you're generally going to have things to help out your kill speed, survivability, and cash break because there isn't an easy-to-get go-to magic find the option here, that's going to be really great. You go with something like Caster amulets, or there could even be a Mara's Kaleidoscope if you want to get some great GG. You could find amulets with almost 30%

MF and other great stats if you have to get the magic find gear on your character. So even though you can get some good magic find either a little bit on rare amulets or magic amulets, we would generally in this slot not go with magic find gear.

D2R Best MF Weapons

  • The Oculus

The Oculus starts off with 50 Magic Find and it is just for the Sorceress. So this is the preferred and go-to option for sorceresses, which are used all the time. You have up to 80 magic find in this particular slot across all characters.

  • Gull Dagger

This Gull Dagger comes with 100% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items, but you would never use this because you can get so much better stats off of your weapon and then you could slap actually magic find in other places so your kill speed will be much faster and you'll have the same amount of magic find. So generally we would never use a gold dagger.

  • Six-Ist Phase Blade & Six-Ist Crystal Sword

For Magic Find weapon, it wouldn't necessarily be a weapon on your main hand, a lot of times this would be on your off hand. But maybe your sorcerer is really trying to stack it up you can either go with a Six-Ist phase blade or a Six-Ist Crystal Sword depending on if you're a sorceress or throwing it on the offhand for a barbarian. Six socketed swords with six Ist runes can get 180 magic find. We've seen sorceresses throw it on their main hand, just to get a ton of magic find, and barbarians dual wielding having a brief in one hand and having an Ist phase blade in the other hand to get a ton of magic find on things like their pit circles.

  • Blade of Ali Baba

Blade of Ali Baba comes with an 81% better chance of getting magic items, and with the two sockets, you can get even more magic find. This is the one you can use for early-game MF farming. It is almost the in the same vein as the Gull Dagger, a lot of times on the weapon slot there are ways that you can get way more out of it, we would say in the form of kill speed, cast rate, survivability from all res.

D2R Best MF Shields

  • Rhyme Shield

There ain't a ton of great options for Magic Find as far as talking about shields. We mean every Caster is going with the spirit but there can be occasions especially early on if you're doing like a Berserk Barbarian or something along that lines, throw on a Rhyme shield now. It only has 25 magic minds but that is a little bit to help you out. But as a lot of other stats to help you out more specifically for melee characters, it's got Cannot be Frozen (absolutely a must-have skill for melee builds). You could even go with a 4-Ist Monarch if you really wanted to stack up the magic find over there.

D2R Best MF Gloves

  • Chance Guards

Chance Guards is an absolute go-to magic find option. If you're a Caster a lot of times, you're going to have Mage Fist or Trans gloves, or maybe a Nova sorceress or any other person that needs mana is using those Ross Burns. But if you're a Barbarian that need the dual Heart of the Oaks and doesn't need any more faster cast right on this character, you can get more magic find on these gloves, they can go up to 40. There are definitely rare gloves that can get some magic find, but those are probably so hard to find. So the chance guards are the most well-known and almost the only option to go with.

D2R Best MF Rings

  • Nagelring

Naglering is absolutely crucial and it's about the only option for Magic Find at the Rings, with 30 magic find good to get there. You can get actually MF rings that can get up to 40 magic find on them, they are actually incredibly uncommon though and it's really not worth even trying to get. Why don't you just throw on Nagelrings to obtain 28-30 magic find easily?

D2R Best MF Charms

  • Magic finds small charms

Magic Find Suffixes only appear on Small Charms. Grand Charms and Large Charms handle Gold Find only through Prefixes, but in general, you would never use those as they are taking 3 slots but usually has less magic find than using 3 MF small charms.

  • Gheed's Fortune Grand Charm

Gheed's Fortune wasn't in the game originally back in the day, but eventually at some point they added in this unique Grand charm that can go up to 40 magic find, so for any magic find character you have to have one of these in your inventory.
