 FC 24 Playstyle+ Tier List 2024

SS Tier: Incisive Pass, Technical, Intercept

Incisive Pass: Recognizing when to transition quickly to offense or maintain possession vs. when to stay compact and deny space for Incisive Pass teams. Concentrate on closing down passing lanes and tracking runs to counter them effectively.

Technical: To deny time and space for technical players to operate. Be patient defensively and pounce on any mistakes. Stay compact and physical without over-committing. Offensively, move the ball unpredictably and use athleticism to offset technical play.

Intercept: Pulling intercepting players out of position and exploiting the gaps left behind quickly. Patient possession and rapid changes in point of attack can create openings against this style.

S Tier: Jockey, Rapid, Relentless, Anticipate, Finesse Shot, Whipped Pass

Jockey: Staying composed under pressure. Avoid playing into their press with predictable passes. Maintain spacing and offer close support options to unlock the coordinated press.

Rapid: Controlling the tempo and denying space for them to exploit with pace. Be organized defensively and then look to change gears dramatically when transitioning to offense.

Relentless: Staying composed under intense pressure and having the quality to exploit inevitable fatigue late in matches. Workrate and concentration are critical to counter the Relentless approach.

Anticipate: Varying your attack enough to avoid becoming predictable. Maintain discipline in possession to exploit their organized shape. Use speed and direct play to puncture their reading of the game.

Finesse Shot: Limiting time and space at the edge of the box. Don't over-commit and force long, low percentage efforts. Remain organized positionally when they have possession in key zones.

Whipped Pass: Denying easy crossing opportunities and dominating aerial battles. Be alert to late runs towards the near post. Remain organized and intercept crosses whenever possible.
