Season 15 of Diablo 4 has put the Seasonal Reputation Board at the center of the endgame grind, and for good reason. Reaching the top of the reputation track feeds directly into Prime Evil Splinter progression, Mystery Greater Archetype Caches, and eventually the chase Uber Tristram encounter. With the recent Summoner cloning method getting patched out, players have been scrambling to find the next best way to stack Splinters of Evil. This guide sorts out every reputation farm worth your time in Diablo Season 15, ranked by how much rep they push per hour so you can pick the route that fits your play style.
Diablo 4 Season 15 Seasonal Reputation Farm Guide
Season 15 features the longest and most demanding seasonal reputation track we have seen in Diablo 4 so far. Prime Evil powers act as a potent juicing mechanic for war plans, and the infinitely repeatable 50,000 rep cache is the top source of Soul Splinters needed for Uber Tristram. Before the patch, the Labyrinth Capstone Dungeon summoner cloning exploit was the fastest way to fill the bar, but Blizzard has since disabled the summons and closed that loophole. That means the community has had to fall back on more traditional content sources, and the good news is that Helltides in groups are now arguably better than ever. With that context in mind, let's go through each rep source from top pick down to the bottom of the barrel.
How Reputation Actually Drops
Before jumping into the specific farms, it helps to know where the numbers come from. Reputation almost entirely comes from killing elites, and the base values are roughly the same across most content:
Blues: around 30 rep each
Rares: roughly 75 to 90 rep each
Uniques and bosses: around 90 to 150 rep each
Enslaved Helltide Harbingers: approximately 90 Splinters of Evil each
Certain content types apply hidden penalties on top of those base values. Infernal Hordes gives Aether Fiends only 18 rep, Kurast Undercity blues only give around 3, and the Pit applies roughly a 50 percent penalty across the board. Keep those penalties in mind before committing hours to the wrong activity.
Method 1: Helltide Rupture Events (Top Farm After the Nerf)
With the summoner exploit gone, Helltide Ruptures have taken over as the best consistent reputation farm in Season 15, especially in a group.
Farming Enslaved Helltide Harbingers
The Enslaved Helltide Harbingers are the dragon-looking demons that resemble Lister the Tormentor and his minions from the Throne of Destruction back in Diablo 2. They spawn most often during Rupture events in Helltide zones. Each one awards around 90 Splinters of Evil, which is not far off the 150 that the old summoner clones were dropping.
For the best density of these enemies, farm at Torment XII. A single Rupture event will net you an average of about 5,000 reputation, which means chaining ten Ruptures gives you 50,000 rep, the exact amount needed for one Mystery Greater Archetype Cache.
Group Farming for Massive Multipliers
Reputation gain multiplies per player in the group, which is why grouped Helltides are rated S++ by the community.
Solo chaos rift: 2,000 to 4,000 rep per portal every 2 to 3 minutes
4-player group chaos rift: around 10,000 rep per portal every 2 to 3 minutes
Echo of a Prime Evil spawn: roughly 1 per hour
Focus on chaos rift overlaps, stay grouped together, and let the multiplier do the work.
Echoes of the Prime Evils
Whenever the on-screen message announces an Echo of a Prime Evil about to spawn, drop what you are doing and get there. A single Echo encounter pays out around 6,000 Splinters of Evil, plus a solid chance to drop Baal Splinters. Prioritize these above everything else during a Helltide session.
Method 2: Escalation Nightmare Dungeons
Escalation Nightmare Dungeons sit at A tier for pure reputation, and they double as one of the best loot farms in the game thanks to Hatred Splinter juicing.
The Horadric Altar Loop
The trick with Nightmare Dungeons is chaining Horadric Altars with shrine refreshes to force the highest elite density in the game. The route works like this:
Kill everything on the map except the boss
Do not click any shrines or altars while clearing
Note where every shrine and altar is on the map
Activate your first shrine
Activate as many altars as possible while killing the elites they spawn before the shrine runs out
Stop killing, let the shrine time out, then pick up the next shrine
Repeat from step 5
Setup Tips
Movement speed matters more than raw damage here since you are sprinting between spread out shrines and altars, so an Enigma-style build shines. Slot the Hatred Splinter for extra loot, or the Splinter of Damnation if your character is strong enough to juice further. Also equip the splinter that grants increased material drops for the run.
Expected Rep
You can pull roughly 10,000 rep per 10 minutes per Escalation Nightmare Dungeon using the altar loop on a juiced character. Without the more advanced tricks, expect closer to half that. It rates below grouped Helltides for raw reputation per hour, but the loot payout is far better.
Method 3: Legion Events
Legion events sit at A tier for casual reputation gains. Each Legion pays out around 6,000 to 8,000 rep in only a couple of minutes of work. There is no setup required, no penalty applied, and the events run on a fixed timer, so hop on them whenever they pop up between other activities.
Method 4: Waking Nightmare Sigils
The new seasonal mini dungeons from Waking Nightmare Sigils land at B tier. Each run gives about 1,000 to 2,000 rep, which is decent but not the strongest use of your time. The bosses inside are fun and the sigils are worth doing for the seasonal journey, but they should not be your primary rep grind since they don't drop much else of value.
Content To Avoid For Reputation Farming
These activities are all F tier for reputation gain, even though several of them are excellent for other rewards.
Lair Bosses: middling rep for the time invested, better used for boss materials
Baal Runs: the wave mechanic spawns only around 5 elites, not enough to keep up
The Pit: roughly half rep penalty, only run these for Paragon Glyphs
Infernal Hordes: heavy rep penalty applied, run them for Gem Fragments and Aether instead
Kurast Undercity: major rep penalty, but still the top XP and material farm
Whispers: effectively no rep contribution
The Old Summoner Method (Patched)
For context, players were previously running the Labyrinth Capstone Dungeon at Torment 8 or higher, damaging the Summoner boss to below one third HP, and killing the clones she spawned for around 130 rep each. Since she would keep casting the cloning ability, the trick was to use single target abilities and disable your mercenary so you never accidentally killed the boss itself. Blizzard has now completely disabled the extra summons in a hotfix, so the method is dead. Do not waste time attempting it.
Splinter Priority and Cache Drops
If your goal is squeezing every last rep per hour, pick the Hatred Blue Splinter at the start of the season since it accelerates rep gain and boosts material drops during Nightmare Dungeon farming. For drop rates on the goodies:
Baal Splinter drop chance: roughly 1 in 20 to 1 in 50 from Echoes and top elites
Cache Splinter drop chance: roughly 1 in 5 from the repeatable cache
Grouped Helltides with Rupture events and Echoes of the Prime Evils are now the go-to reputation farm in Season 15 after the Summoner nerf, thanks to the per-player multiplier and the strong payout from Enslaved Helltide Harbingers. Escalation Nightmare Dungeons come in as the strongest solo alternative and give you top tier loot along the way, while Legion events fill in the gaps between longer sessions. Stack those 50,000 rep repeatable caches, farm your Prime Evil Splinters, juice your war plans, and you will have the reputation board and Mystery Greater Archetype Caches rolling in by the end of the week.
