Animal Crossing New Horizons nternational Museum Day 2021

ACNH International Museum Day 2021 Dates & Changes

Release Date: The International Museum Day event is held on Animal Crossing: New Horizons starting May 18 and for nearly two weeks, until May 31. This is an event that aims to promote the study and knowledge of the world around us. Your goal is to visit all areas of the building to collect all the stamps scattered throughout the various rooms. Despite the name, we will be able to participate in this event every day: in fact, the stations for the collection of stamps will change position every day, so that we can discover every corner of our museum. Therefore, although the name may be misleading, it is not an event that will last only one day: we have plenty of time to complete the various challenges and get all the rewards!

Changes: This year, moreover, we will also be able to collect the stamps of the area of works of art, an area absent during last year's event. In short, a good way to get to know each artist and his masterpieces in depth! But there are still two significant changes you will see in ACNH international Museum Day 2021: the arthibition is now included in the event bringing the total amount of stamp stations on any given day up to 12 with each gallery containing 3 stamps each; the bug, fish, fossil and art plaques can now be sold for 2500 bells each which is a significant increase compared to the 300 bells for last year, means it is great time to earn 10,000 bells easily.

Conditions For Participating In International Museum Day 2021

In order to participate in the International Museum Day event, you must have an internet connection, thus having the Nintendo Switch connected to the network. This is because the event is released in the form of a free downloadable update.

Generally, once connected, the update should occur automatically, but if not, just go back to the Switch console's Home and press the button. At this point, a screen will open, where the item "Software Update" will be visible. Just click on it and the game will be updated to version 1.10.0a.

Furthermore, if we are used to traveling in time, it is necessary to go back or forward to the current date, otherwise, it will not be possible to participate in any way in the International Museum Day event.

How To Join International Museum Day Event In ACNH?

1. After the event has started, we will have Isabelle who will warn us on the home screen that we can go to the museum to find out the various details relating to the event.

2. In fact, by going to talk with Blathers, the curator of the museum, we will have all the info about it: in this case, he will tell us that the event is available from 18 to 31 May, revealing to us that it will be a collection of stamps and will be himself to provide us with a stamp collection card, which is essential to complete the event.

The various activities planned are to be carried out inside the museum of our island: inside the various exhibition rooms, in fact, there will be stamp points, useful for filling our card: in this guide, in fact, it will be possible to find the list of all the points and directions on where to find them, as well as the prizes that can be obtained from the event.

How To Get the Stamps For Museum Day Rewards?

1. Once we have obtained the stamp card of the event from Blathers, we can start collecting them by visiting the exhibition rooms of the museum on our island: what we will have to do is to identify special trolleys with the classic owl logo, scattered throughout the rooms.

2. Just interact with one of these trolleys inside the museum to open our stamp card and fill one of the empty spaces with a stamp! In total there are 9 stamps to collect per day, three Stamp Stations for each room: fish, bugs, and fossils.

3. We will then be able to find the stamp carts in each of these museum exhibition rooms, make sure to look around to find them all. Each exhibition has its own unique stamp card, identifiable by the characteristic icon on each of them. For that of the fish room, for example, there is a fish icon.

4. As mentioned before, if each tile has three main spaces, as seen in the photo above, then there will be nine stamps in total to collect. The fourth smaller circle at the bottom right of the card will contain the space for the completion stamp of the card which will be filled in automatically when you complete everything.

5. This event is also easily completed in a single day (it actually takes a few minutes). However, unlike the event dedicated to the day of May 1st, this can instead be repeated every day until the end of the month, therefore until May 31st. All there is to do is locate the carts in the various exhibition rooms and interact with them.

As mentioned before, this event can be repeated every day until May 31st: What you get is a duplicate of the same rewards, so there are no new items or special rewards, at least as far as we know so far. It is not even convenient to collect them every day to resell them at the Nook Shopping: in fact, their purchase value is only 300 Animal Crossing bells each.
