1. DIY Goods Wanted!
This Nook Miles task asks you to craft and donate specific DIY items to help promote your island. Think of it as a community drive to showcase your island’s creativity to visitors.
Objectives & Requirements
The quest is split into 5 stamp milestones. Each milestone will ask for a set number of different DIY items, such as furniture, tools, or decor pieces. Common requests include wooden stools, iron lanterns, or flower wreaths. Items must be dropped into the collection box by the pier on your island.
How to Complete
Check your Nook Miles app daily for the updated list of requested DIY items.
Gather the necessary crafting materials (e.g., wood, iron nuggets, flowers).
Craft the items at a workbench.
Bring the finished items to the pier and place them in the donation box.
Repeat until you collect all 5 stamps.
Rewards
Each completed stamp grants a chunk of Nook Miles (typically 500–1,000 miles per stamp).
Finishing all 5 stamps unlocks a large bonus (around 3,000 miles) and a special promotional poster for your island.
You’ll also earn title keywords like Island Promoter to customize your in-game passport.
Pro Tip
Keep a stock of basic DIY materials like wood and stone on hand. This way, you can craft requested items quickly without running around the island to gather resources at the last minute.
2. Decorate a Hotel Room
The new island hotel needs your design skills! This task rewards you for helping make guest rooms feel cozy and welcoming, and is tied to the hotel’s daily operations.
Objectives & Requirements
The achievement has 3 stamp milestones. Community data confirms the full requirements: 1 room for the first stamp, 5 rooms for the second, and 20 rooms for the final milestone. Each day, you’ll be given a new guest with a specific theme or request (e.g., a beach vibe room). You must use the in-game decorating tools to furnish the room according to the guest’s tastes.
How to Complete
Visit the island hotel each day to receive your new decorating request.
Use the furniture and items available in the hotel’s inventory (or bring your own) to design the room.
Focus on meeting the guest’s theme—pay attention to their dialogue for clues about their favorite colors or styles.
Once you finish decorating, talk to the hotel manager to confirm the room is complete and earn your stamp progress.
Repeat this process over 20 days to hit the final milestone. You can start working on the next room immediately if you’d like!
Rewards
First Stamp (1 room): 300 Nook Miles + Title Keywords “Chill Organizer”.
Second Stamp (5 rooms): 800 Nook Miles + Title Keywords “Hotel Host/Hostess”. (to be confirmed)
Third Stamp (20 rooms): 2,500 Nook Miles + Title Keywords “Master Designer”, plus the ability to dress the hotel’s mannequins. Guests will then start wearing the outfits you create for these mannequins! (to be confirmed)
You’ll also earn Hotel Tickets each time you decorate a room, which can be traded at Graham’s Souvenir Shop for exclusive items like the Hotel Snow Globe, Tower Rack, and new cardigans. The shop also has a catalog where you can order more goods for extra tickets.
Pro Tip
Time travel (if you don’t mind breaking immersion) to speed up the daily room assignments. This lets you complete the 20-room milestone much faster than waiting in real time.
3. Take Tourists to the Hotel
This achievement involves finding lost tourists who visit your island without a booking, and inviting them to stay at the hotel. As your screenshot confirms, the first stamp requires 1 out of 5 tourists.
Objectives & Requirements
The achievement has 3 stamp milestones. The first requires inviting 5 tourists, with the second and third requiring 10 and 15 tourists respectively. Tourists appear as random villagers wandering your island with a thought bubble above their head, just like a villager who wants to move in. When starting your game, if a tourist is on your island, the title screen will sometimes focus on them, giving you a heads-up.
How to Complete
Check your island every day (or time travel) for tourists. They spawn randomly, so patience is key.
When you spot a tourist with a thought bubble, talk to them. They will mention they are lost and looking for a place to stay.
Invite them to the island hotel.
After they accept, you will be able to design a special VIP room just for them.
Repeat until you have collected all 3 stamps.
Rewards
First Stamp (5 tourists): 800 Nook Miles (to be confirmed)
Second Stamp (10 tourists): 1,200 Nook Miles (to be confirmed)
Third Stamp (15 tourists): 2,000 Nook Miles (to be confirmed)
You’ll also earn extra Hotel Tickets for each tourist you invite, which can be used at Graham’s shop.
Pro Tip
If you’re struggling to find tourists, try time traveling one day at a time. Many players report that tourists spawn more frequently when you skip ahead by 24 hours.
