PoE 3.29 Chart List, Modifiers, Best Charts & How to Get

PoE Guide July 30, 2026

In Path of Exile 3.29 Curse of the Allflame league, charts are the core item and mechanic to explore The Fathomless Depths and build custom Voyages for high-tier loot, currency, and exclusive Ducat crafting materials. This guide covers PoE 3.29 chart types, stats, modifiers, top-tier charts, usage methods, acquisition ways, and gameplay tips.

PoE 3.29 Chart

PoE 3.29 Chart Types & List

All 3 base chart types correspond to three unique ocean biomes in The Fathomless Depths. Each chart can spawn exclusive special areas and orange-tier special modifiers, which determine unique encounters and loot pools.

  • Sandy Seabed Chart: The most versatile chart type. It spawns exclusive special areas including Anchorfield, Brine King's Domain, Hazardous Depths, Infested Bathyspheres, and the high-value Kashara's Rest. Most profitable endgame voyage strategies rely heavily on this chart.

  • Coral Reef Chart: Focuses on gold and mercenary-related content. Exclusive areas are Clam-infested Shelf, Diving Shoals, and Sunken Totems, providing abundant gold, unique amulets, and special mercenary encounters.

  • Coral Forest Chart: Oriented on abyss and Vaal-themed loot. Exclusive areas include Eldritch Depths, Pelagic Abyss, Sea Pillars, and Lost Ruins, dropping abyss jewel modifiers, Vaal Vessel strongboxes, and related Ducats.

Each base chart will reveal a random Voyage Modifier after being charted (explored), which applies global buffs or mechanics to the final assembled voyage.

Chart Stats & Basic Attributes

Charts have fixed core stats that directly determine voyage loot quality and quantity. These stats can be rolled and optimized before adding charts to the Voyage Board, and they cannot be modified after voyage planning is confirmed.

  • Item Quantity (Quant): The most critical stat. Official 3.29B patch increased chart base quantity by 20–40%. High quant scales all loot, strongbox drops, and currency gains in the voyage. Top rolled charts can reach over 250% total quantity.

  • Item Rarity: Boosts the drop rate of rare and unique items, synergizing well with starfish and rare monster-focused strategies.

  • Pack Size: Increases the number of monster packs per zone, raising overall loot volume and rare monster spawn chances.

  • Dead Man's Sulphur Bonus: Variable tiered stats (15%/20%/25% increased) that raise sulphur acquisition, a core resource for rerolling voyage edge modifiers.

PoE 3.29 Chart & Voyage Modifiers

There are three major modifier categories for charts and voyages, plus exclusive orange special modifiers for high-value encounters. All modifiers follow official generation rules and spawn weights.

1. Global Voyage Implicit Modifiers

These modifiers apply to all zones in a completed voyage. High-weight modifiers are common, while low-weight ones are endgame meta-tier:

  • Common Buffs: 15–25% increased Dead Man's Sulphur, 8–10% item quantity, 7–9% item rarity, 5–7% pack size, Soul Eater for players, friendly jellyfish spawns.

  • Monster Modifiers: 25% increased rare/magic monster count, 50% fracture chance for rare monsters, 100% possessed rare monsters, all monsters are at least magic (level 68+).

  • High-Tier Rare Modifier: Monsters cannot drop equipment, flasks, or tinctures (ultra low spawn weight). This eliminates junk drops and massively boosts rare/unique loot value, being the core of top-end farming strategies.

  • Quality Modifier: Found flasks have 20% quality (100% chance).

2. Edge & Adjacent Modifiers

  • Edge Modifiers (Border Modifiers): Apply only to a single chart tile. Can be rerolled with Dead Man's Sulphur (cost doubles per reroll). Key valuable edges: Captain's Bane boss spawn, additional golden lanterns, extra diviner/arcanist/operative strongboxes.

  • Adjacent Modifiers: Affect all neighboring chart tiles. Corner tiles have 2 adjacent slots, cross tiles have 3, and middle tiles have 4. Stacking adjacent modifiers is the main way to scale voyage loot (e.g., 4 additional golden lanterns per middle tile brings 160% quant and 480% rarity total).

3. Orange Special Chart Modifiers (Exclusive Encounters)

These unique modifiers spawn special areas and exclusive Ducat drops, with fixed biome exclusivity:

  • Sandy Seabed Exclusive: Anchorfield (mass sunken loot chests), Brine King's Domain (brine hook ducat + rare rares), Hazardous Depths (rotmother's ducat), Infested Bathyspheres (gold piles + genteel's ducat), Kashara's Rest (Velka boss fight, top-tier valuable chart)

  • Coral Reef Exclusive: Diving Shoals (trathen mercenary + cyaxan's ducat), Clam-infested Shelf (mass treasure clams + gold), Sunken Totems (karui trial monsters + katakohi's ducat)

  • Coral Forest Exclusive: Pelagic Abyss (abyss pits + merrick's ducat), Sea Pillars (rare starfish enemies), Lost Ruins (vaal vessel strongboxes + tzamoto's ducat)

Best PoE 3.29 Charts & Value Ranking

Based on loot return rate, market value, and strategy compatibility, charts are divided into S-tier (meta), A-tier (stable profit), and B-tier (filler).

S-Tier (Must-Save & Tradeable)

  • Kishara's Rest Chart: The most valuable chart in the league. Spawns the Velka boss, unlocks final Vesper crafting progression, and maintains a high divine orb market price. Prioritize saving or selling immediately.

  • Anchorfield Chart: Spawns massive sunken loot chests with consistent currency and scarab drops, core for fast speed-farming strategies.

  • Brine King's Domain Chart: Drops abundant rare items and exclusive Brinehook's Ducat (for pantheon aspect crafting), with high raw loot value.

A-Tier (Stable Profit for Daily Farming)

  • Infested Bathyspheres: Mass monster spawns and gold piles, compatible with magic monster stacking strategies.

  • Lost Ruins: High-frequency Vaal strongboxes for vaal orbs and rare corruption materials.

  • Sea Pillars: Extra rare starfish enemies, perfect for unique item-focused meat-fish strategies.

B-Tier (Filler Charts)

Clam-infested Shelf, Diving Shoals, Sunken Totems, Hazardous Depths. These provide basic gold and minor ducats, suitable for filling voyage board gaps but not worth special preservation.

How to Use PoE 3.29 Charts?

1. Basic Chart Exploration Process

  • After defeating Hillock in Act 1, talk to NPC Valerie to unlock The Sovereign ship and chart mechanic.

  • Ctrl-click Valerie, insert a chart, and descend into The Fathomless Depths.

  • Enable auto lantern placement to cover the maximum area. Follow lantern light beams to find points of interest (gold, clams, altars).

  • Collect loot and sulfur, then exit the depth to complete charting and unlock its voyage modifier.

2. Pre-Voyage Chart Rolling Rule

All chart rolling (exalt, chaos reforging) must be done before adding charts to the Voyage Board. Charts in planned voyages cannot be modified in any way. Prioritize rolling for 120%+ quantity and useful edge/adjacent modifiers.

3. Voyage Board Layout Strategy

  • Corners: Place high-value voyage global modifier charts (affect the entire voyage).

  • Middle Slots: Stack adjacent modifier charts (maximize stacked loot buffs from neighboring tiles).

  • Reroll edge modifiers with sulphur when needed (stop rerolls when cost becomes too high to avoid resource waste).

4. Two Endgame Usages

  • Speed Run Strategy: Place strongbox-focused adjacent modifiers in the middle, high-quant tiles around it, and filler charts in corners. Focus on looting diviner/arcanist/operative strongboxes for fast scarab, card, and sulphur gains.

  • Meat-Fish Max Loot Strategy: Stack starfish, possessed rare, and pantheon modifiers. Accumulate 28+ golden lanterns for 280% player quantity and 840% rarity, paired with no equipment drop modifier to spawn massive unique item drops.

How to Get PoE 3.29 Charts?

  • Campaign Progression: Obtain basic charts naturally while clearing Act 1 to Act 10, unlocked after meeting Valerie and progressing the Sovereign ship quest.

  • Ship Graveyard Drop: NPC Gravicius in Ship Graveyard drops Allflame items, which unlock further chart farming and Vesper crafting, while rewarding additional basic charts.

  • Voyage Completion: Complete daily voyages to obtain random base charts and occasional special modifier charts.

  • Trade Market: Purchase high-value special charts (Kashara's Rest, Anchorfield) from other players for endgame strategy building.

  • Post-Patch Bonus: 3.29B patch increases spawn rate of high-quality charts, reduces dead-end/straight-line low-value charts, and boosts special object spawn chances for more chart drops.
