Elden Ring Strength Build 2023 - Top 5 Best Strength Builds & Weapons in Elden Ring After Patch 1.08

The list of Elden Ring strength builds for 1.08 is ranked by Youwy, each build introduces the best ER weapons, talismans, spells, and stats.

Top 5 - Heavy Giant-Crusher (Colossal Weapon)

Starting at number five, we have a Giant-Crusher build, the whole build is going to be centering around using a singular attack and poisoning something, we use a Giant Crusher with a Heavy infusion, and the Ash of War Royal Knight’s Resolve, which can do 80 more damage on its next hit. The secondary weapon is going to the Bloodstained Dagger, one of the best strength daggers in the game. It does have inherent bleed as well.  When selecting talismans for this strength build, the first one is going to be Axe Talisman, when you have your heavy attack fully charged, it will do more damage with this talisman. The second one is Kindred of Rot's Exultation, this raises attack power by 20% for 20 seconds, and that’s where the Bloodstained Dagger comes into play. The next talisman is going to be the Ritual Sword Talisman, this one is not that necessary, when you are at full health, you just get 10 more damage, if you do time it correctly, it’s going to be beneficial to your build, but in most cases, you will get hit during your animation, so you can switch it out for something else. The last one is going to be the Great-Jar's Arsenal in order to get more equipment load. In addition, Clawmark Seal is the best option for a strength build, and for incantations, Lightning Spear for a range option, Golden Vow, and Flame Grant me Strength to max out the damage. One thing you can do is to use your Flask of Wondrous Physick and have Spiked Cracked Tear on there, it temporarily boosts your charged attack power.

Top 4 - Heavy Rusted Anchor (Greataxe)

This build is going to center around posture-breaking enemies. The stats of this level 150 strength build are listed below, we are going to have a lot of endurance because we need a lot of equipment load. Our weapons are going to be the Rusted Anchor or Executioner's Greataxe, and have Heavy infusions on of these weapons. The first one does get piercing damage meaning that our counterattack damage is going to be improved and does a lot more damage than usual. As for the Ash of War, Raptor of the Mists is what we are going to have in our main hand, as we want to get lots of jumping attacks off, what it does is when you are about to get hit, it will pretty much like teleport you up into the area and you get a free jumping attack off, which is very handy. When it comes to Executioner's Greataxe, it does get 110 critical damage, the Ash of War is going to be using Cragblade to get more damage, when your posture breaks something we get a repost and that's going to tie into the critical damage we get with the Executioner's Greataxe. Moving on to talismans, the Claw Talisman enhances the jump attack damage by 15%, the Spear Talisman increases the counter-attack damage from the Rusted Anchor, and then Great-Jar's Arsenal increases equipment load, the next one Bull-Goat's Talisman to further raises the poise. We are also using the Raptor's Black Feathers chest piece because it stacks with the Claw talisman and will improve jump attack damage as well.

Top 3 - Heavy Greatsword (Colossal Sword)

The weapon for this build is going to be the Greatsword, it is very powerful and has a lot of damage, colossal crouching attacks are very powerful, they're just nerfed but they just buff them again back to their former glory. The Ash of War equipped onto this is Giant Hunt, this is probably the best strength Ash of War in the game. It has a unique crouching animation to go into an uppercut in that crouch, a lot of attacks end up going right over your head, it also gets a good amount of posture damage to the point where the posture breaks enemies very quickly. The critical damage can get enhancement because of the Dagger Talisman, which is the first choice of talisman. The next one is going to be Spear Talisman, which increases thrusting weapon counterattack damage. Then the Shard of Alexander enhanced the weapon attack or the Ash of War damage. Speaking of spells, we are going to use Electrify Armament to buff the weapon, Stone Of Gurranq is a good range option that has a lot of posture damage, as well as Golden Vow and Flame Grant me Strength to boost the damage.

Top 2 - Heavy Great Stars (Great Hammer)

The number two strength build is using the Great Stars weapon, as for the stats, 10 arcane is to have the requirements for the blood flame blade incantation and the 40 endurance is for the equipment load and a longer stamina because we are going to need it for the Prelate’s Charge Ash of War that is equipped onto the Great Stars. The good thing about the weapon is that it does have inherent blood or split up as well as with every successive hit, it does give you a chunk of health back, and pairing that with the Prelate’s Charge, you'll get a lot of blood loss build up over time and getting health regen. The weapon that is used in our offhand is Serpent-God's Curved Sword, as long as you have it equipped, with every single kill that you do, you will get a chunk of health back. When it comes to the best talismans, you can use the Godskin Swaddling Cloth, with successive hits, you actually get lots of health back, and with Prelate’s Charge, we need to do a lot of consecutive hits in a short time. The Lord of Blood's Exultation is going to give us 20 more damage, and then the Old Lord's Talisman extends the duration of spells. It also makes sense to have some spells, the primary one is going to be Bloodflame Blade, it adds fire damage and more and more blade to the weapon and alongside the skill, you are going to do bleeding out very quickly. Next, Lightning Spear is the range option and Flame Grant me Strength for more fire and physical damage. More choices like Bestial Vitality for health regen, and Fire's Deadly Sin work well with Bloodflame Blade.

Top 1 - Heavy Nightrider Glaive (Halberd)

Finally, at the number one Elden Ring strength build for 2023, the weapon is going to be a Nightrider Glaive with a heavy infusion. This weapon is very strong and does a lot of damage, it has very nice moveset running light attacks as well as a good amount of range, it is a good weapon for horseback combat. The Braggart’s Roar makes it absolutely insane, what the Ash of War does is add 10 physical attack damage, 10 damage negation, and 20 faster stamina recovery speeds all over 60 seconds. One thing it also does is changes the heavy attack animation, the initial attack is very quick and the follow-up is even quicker, it makes it very good, and it does piercing damage as well. The secondary weapon choice is going to be Highland Axe, it boosts the attacks, and when you have this weapon equipped, you can do more damage. Moving on to talismans, the Axe Talisman enhances our charge attack damage, and being that the heavy attacks of what we're gonna be using the most, it does a lot of damage in itself already, that's gonna make it do an absolutely enormous amount of damage. the Roar Medallion works the same way as the Highland Axe actually does and the fact that when you use Braggart’s Roar, it would actually do even more damage with its moveset. Then the Great Jar’s Arsenal for more equipment load. The last thing is incantations, Catch Flame is a quick short-range option, Lightning Spear has a longer range, and Golden Vow and Flame Grant me Strength for more damage. This build is focusing on using the Braggart’s Roar and spamming the heavy attacks, they do a ton of damage and stagger very nicely.
